  1. The Predator "I ain't got time for puns"

While it's nice to get a new Predator film again, this IMO looks very unmemorable. I know it's a trailer, but it's giving me vibes that this movie will release and pass like a fart in the wind
  2. Supersonic didn't add achievements/trophies though. The DX/Battle DLC did. While both are base game pieces purposely blocked off to maximise profits. The Xbox and PS crowd certainly have a fair amount of Achievement/Trophy hunters, and usually when we pay for DLC, we expect new achievements attached to paid DLC. So paying £2 for a few more achievements to chase down is no biggie for me personally, I have SA2B on the Gamecube as well as the Dreamcast Original. I could have just played them. But I chose not to. I chose to pay for this. Had the Supersonic DLC cost from the get-go, then no, I would never have bought it, because it doesn't give me any achievements to go after
  3. SEGA Forever Revealed!

Not gonna lie, I sometimes come back here to see how much SEGA have fucked up with SEGA Forever! Because I like seeing how Right I was in the beginning. I chose not to support their initiative because I could see the half-effort intentions from the beginning. SEGA don't make 'great efforts'. Why would this be any different? "Games from Megadrive to Dreamcast" Yeah, but like 90% Megadrive games that have been ported 5,672 times over and the other 10% being non-megadrive games that were already on the store. Batman Forever... Duke Nukem Forever... Never trust anything with the word "Forever" in it's title. It's usually destined to fail :/
  4. Sonic Forces: GOTY Edition? Oh golly gosh, I sure hope so!!!
  5. While I enjoy and love each Lego Cinematic Universe film, they each have the exact same ending :/

    1. A person, that exists

      A person, that exists

There is a lego cinematic universe?

Wow, modern cinematography is sure a gift that keeps on giving.

    2. Scott

The Lego Movie, Lego Batman Movie, Lego Ninjago Movie.

    3. Blue Blood

      Blue Blood

All the Lego games and films are the exact same product just with different skins.

    4. A person, that exists

      A person, that exists

@Blue Blood Lego in general is the same product with different skins.

    5. Blue Blood

      Blue Blood

That's fine for the toys because the fun is in the collection and building, but the games are all exactly the same. They're the most generic of games and the only thing that's propping them up is the strength of the properties and the humour (which is unchanging and constantly recycled). I understand why kids enjoy them, but the mass market appeal is lost on me.

    6. A person, that exists

      A person, that exists

@Blue Blood To be fair, that's modern children's gaming for ya. If you're not a giant like Mario or Sonic, then you must be a lego palletswap.

    7. Teoskaven

      >tfw there will never be a new proper Bionicle LEGO movie

    8. A person, that exists

      A person, that exists

@Teoskaven Thank god. The old ones sucked some major balls.

    9. Scott

@A person, that exists I'm biased because of nostalgia, but the Bionicle movies are great!

      Especially Legends of Metru Nui!

Though I'd love a Bonk movie in the same CGI Stop-motion style as the other Lego Movies! Same kind of humour too, not taking itself too seriously like the original lore.

And the Lego Movie did make a very very brief acknowledgement of Bionicle. So it exists in that Universe, but if it ever gets a movie, I imagine it's low-priority...

  6. Finally made a start to my first song!

Just something that came to me during work today. A fair bit experimental. Gonna aim for industrial. So far I've got the bass down, some vocals added and touching up the bass before adding drums.

Obviously this is but a small start to a big journey!

Wish me luck lads and ladettes! <3

    1. Kiah

Wishing you well and have fun! 🙂

    2. Scott

      @Kiah Thank you my dude!

    3. Kiah

In case you weren’t using it in a general sense I just want to say that I’m a girl 😉. No big deal however and you’re welcome all the same! 🙂

    4. Scott

@Kiah Thank you for making me aware :P But yes, general sense :D

    5. Kiah

Okay cool. I’ve had members actually think I was a guy on more than one occasion. As long as you know you can call me “dude” all you want 😉

  7. Just applied for my Esta!

Almost ready for my trip to 'Muricanland! <3

    1. Dizcrybe

Ehhhh, you sure now is the best time?

    2. Patticus

      Where ya going?

    3. Scott

@Patticus New York :Dstaying at a place called Hotel Edison

    4. Patticus

Have fun! Never been to NYC, should be good though. Stay safe and get to the airport in plenty of time - 2hrs for int'l flights IIRC.

    5. Scott

@Patticus Thanks for the heads up! :D

    6. Patticus

You're welcome! And if your flight is domestic, no matter the country, IIRC you only need to check-in 45 minutes ahead.

But yeah, I'd get there as early as you can. I'd rather be waiting around half the day for my flight than stressing out over a missed one.

    7. Scott

@Patticus I work in an airport (Edinburgh, Scotland) :P I'm always a stressful "get there with 3 hours to spare" type guy! ;)

    8. Patticus

Love Edinburgh, one of my best cities I've been to. Never been to the airport though...

You should pay a visit to Iceland, should be able to get a direct flight from there.

    9. Scott

@Patticus That's always nice to hear :D I'm glad you liked it!

Yeah you can! I'll be sure to add iceland to the list! Thanks :)

  8. Linkin Park's Numb on the 1.5 speed setting on Youtube is oddly good!

  9. Just watched Sonic's Christmas Blast for the first time!

That was seriously meh. And this comes from a die-hard lover of AoSTH!

  10. happy birthday! hope today was filled with happiness, love, and cake.

    1. Scott

Awww Dude! Thank you so much! I really appreciate it ^_^

  11. Happy birfamaday bud

I couldn't find you a gift, but I found you a guy in a turkey outfit

    1. Scott

Awww Dude! I really appreciate it so much <3

      Thank you buddy! ^_^

  12. Honestly Sonic Unleashed is a horrible game

Can't say I ever had a problem with locking on to enemies. Gameplay was pretty tight for me, from homing attacks, quick-steps to simple things like jumping and drifting. Hated the medal collecting though! Oh! And the Hot Dog Challenges!!! Believe me, if you think Eggmanland is awful or difficult, wait till you try the Hot Dog Challenges.... Been there! Done that! Got the achievements! But my god...
  13. Sonic 06!!! All the Lego Videogames! Toy Story 3 Any Toys 2 Life game - Disney Infinity/Lego Universe/Skylanders
  14. So I saw Star Wars. It was okay. Some really epic set pieces and despite seeing spoilers ahead of it, the scenes themselves still surprised with the execution.

And Overall, I'd say it was a really decent film and STILL better than any of the prequels....

    Some scenes were badly written/executed

A bit too much humour to the point it felt 3/4 Star Wars film, 1/4 Marvel film. Disneys "magic" at work I guess?

I wouldn't let Rian Johnson write or direct another Star Wars film, never mind giving him his own Trilogy to work on.

And Personal opinion - I still prefer TFA

  15. You know what?

In Classic Sonic's levels in Forces, why do the signs at the end of the level have Classic Eggman on them? He's not partnered up with Modern Eggman like in Generations and sure;y would make sense to have Modern Eggman on them since it's an area he's conquered, which is usually the point in these end level signs?

    1. Blacklightning

Because they shamelessly recycled a ton of shit from Generations and were so unashamed of it they didn't even bother making a new texture for it.

    2. NegaMetallix

I just chalk it up to laziness on their end, with them just using the exact same sign model from Generations (animations and all).

    3. Scott

    4. Bowbowis

Better question: Why use the signpost at all? Why not just end Classic's levels with the same star logo as the Modern/Avatar stages?

    5. Scott

Same question could be asked why are there TV monitors floating around the scenery in Classic's levels but no moderns or Avatars. Just Classic Megadrive/Genesis aesthetics really
