  1. What's your favorite war?? Well, not really favorite, but the one that you find the most interesting and the one that you like to research the most. For me, it has to be World War 2. I really don't know why. Maybe it's Hitler or Pearl Harbor or how we kicked the nazis asses or the 2 bombs we dropped on Japan, but I find it really interesting.

or the 2 bombs we dropped on Japan, but I find it really interesting.

Interesting in the "oh wow that's cool" sense, or interesting in the "holy shit that's morbid" sense?

"Woow, two atomic bombs were dropped on Japan! Amazing!"

World War I interests me. It's facinating when you see most nations suddenly fighting, banding together to fight who they would all believe is a common enemy. Especially because the Serbian assassination at the start was simply an excuse to say "now it's time to kick your ass". There are no enemies, just nations fighting for power.

I don't think it's great. I just think it's pretty amazing. Think about it. A man made item than can demolish mile after mile after mile of anything. It's pretty amazing. But after all, it's war. They bombed Pearl Harbor. They hit us, we hit them back, harder.

why would you have a favorite instance of thousands of people dying

@Shaddy the guy Like I said, it's not really a favorite but one that you find interesting to research.

I personally find the Cold War to be a fascinating for the sheer social and political complexity which underlies the two superpower's attempts to stay ahead of each other while being fully aware that the other that the other side could blow them to hell at a moments notice.

    7. Kiah

I don't find massive destruction and millions of innocent lives lost if not ruined among many other horrible things due to war "interesting" in the slightest. Not even to research.

I think WW2 has the most important lessons with Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin around. And also the nuclear bombings and carpet bombings. A lot can be learnt to improve our future and moral compass of humanity.

It's always good to learn about, and remember the past. To prevent history from repeating itself.

  2. I'm so sick of people using the K word. It's such a racist and offensive term.

Kid? Knock? Klan? Klavier? Know? Keep?

I don't even want to say it because it's so offensive. But if you really don't know, I'll have to. ...Kremlin.

    4. PaddyFancy

Russia is in the news a lot it's hard to ignore

    5. BlueSky

Then you should be happy that you don't live here; It's used pretty much in every day in everywhere in here. ^_^

    6. KHCast

But you're okay with using derogatory terms for LGBT people, okay

    7. PaddyFancy

I never heard of that word used as an offensive word. Goomba (iconic Mario enemy) is an offensive word in NE USA

      The Chairman Of The Board

@KHCast I actually don't find it offensive or racist. I specifically said it because all these "politically correct" morons say that every word ever used to distinguish a certain ethnicity or nationality is offensive and racist. Sort of a parody if you will.

  3. That moment you find out that Major Nelson from "I Dream Of Jeannie" and J.R. from "Dallas" are played by the same actor.

  4. That moment when you check your tracking number and aren't expecting it to say out for delivery.

  6. I need some help. I was on my HP laptop and I shut the screen. When I opened the screen the power button was blinking and the screen wasn't turning on so I held it down until it stopped blinking. The screen still won't turn on and when I plug in the charger the light comes on to show it's charging. If someone can, please help.

It doesn't go into the HP logo or anything after a full hard reboot?

I tried but I can't figure out how to do a hard reboot. What exactly does that do?? I wouldn't think it deletes anything or resets it does it??

    3. Tara

No.  It just means you hold down the power button until it's off.  If after holding it long enough and it turns off and it goes into the HP logo before permanently going black, you might try booting into safe mode and doing a system restore.

If it doesn't do anything at all, then you might try hard rebooting again. take out the battery, hold down the power button for about 40 seconds, replace the battery, and try again.

If that doesn't work, it sounds like your video driver is corrupted (or your screen is broken, but it sounds like the former to me) and you may have to take it to be repaired.

Ok. Thank you for your help.

I actually have 1 more question. Was there any way to prevent this or is there any explanation for why it happened??

    5. Tara

There's too many factors that could possibly explain it, so it depends on a lot of things.  Ideally, you can prevent it with proper maintenance and not looking at shady porn sites or something, but sometimes computer parts get old or they malfunction just because.  It's hard to say.

      The Chairman Of The Board

      Well, again, Thank you.

    7. Tara

      No problem.

  7. I can't seem to find anything but I'm pretty sure I heard that they were voting today. Is Gorsuch in??

  8. Remember when Amiibo's were the biggest thing and people were spending $70 or $80 for some just to have them all??

    1. Milo

The Toys-To-Life genre as a whole is arguably now in its twilight years. Skylanders has taken a massive decline and Disney unceremoniously killed off Disney Infinity a while back. amiibos are still around, but have largely taken a backseat in importance, they haven't been used for much in Nintendo's games outside of cosmetics (Smash Bros. being the lone exception). Lego Dimensions seems to be doing OK though--presumably because all of the toys are made for one game, and each toy --based on its IP-- usually also has DLC pieces included.

  9. Who else thinks that Al Bundy is one of the most realistic and truthful TV characters??

  10. Oh... I meant Dreamcast graphics Sonic. They can put the light speed dash bracelet and the fire somersault ring on him.
  11. It's worse than that. Instead of Boom Sonic, it's going to be Pakistan Sonic Heroes McDonalds Commercial Sonic.
  12. I'll admit that I was really excited. When they said they changed something in the trailer, I was flipping out. I thought Dreamcast Sonic or Mario was going to pop up on the other side of Modern Sonic.
  13. I'll say this though. Even if it is basically Generations 2, who cares?? The formula works and it's great. Did people criticize Sonic 2 and 3&K because it had the same formula as 1?? No, because the formula works. Going by this logic, why not criticize Mania for being a copy and paste of the first 3 games??
  14. Plus by automatically assuming it's bad without playing the game, you're further cementing the stereotype that Sonic fans can't be satisfied.
