Thinking about it, I don't think some of these pro-Autism cure folks have thought about the long-term consequences of such a thing and why it's actually pretty fruitless for a good majority of actually Autistic people.
Like, if it was someone like me who knew what they were consenting to, basically having the knowledge and skills needed at their age, then fine and dandy (even if it was still ethically fucked up...and probably impossible because this is not how Autism works).
But for someone like my sister, who turned the big 3-0 last month and has a mental age of 8...where do they hope to pull that missing 22 years of knowledge and skills from? They gonna stuff that in a cure too? How do they propose to deal with the psychological effects of such a vacuum when they become aware of it? I doubt they'd have a happy life for a long time, if at all.

Anyone where you can watch the Paddington movies... legally?
I heard REALLY good things about both movies especially the second one (which beat Toy Story 2 as the highest rated film on Rotten Tomatoes, holy shit), so I gotta see what the hype’s about.

I’m sure you can find them on one of the major streaming services somewhere. And if not, just go out and buy the DVDs. You won’t regret it.

I’m not talking about a cut, I’m talking about an audio glitch.
In some versions, when SB goes up to the building, the audio from the very next scene starts playing when he opens his mouth. So it look like he’s saying “I just don’t get it” to the building, and Patrick’s saying “I don’t either” offscreen.
