  1. I saw the Grinch today. The Jim Carrey one will always be the better one, but this was pretty good too. I thought this one at least had a better story, especially concerning Cindy Lou. But it didn’t really have anything laugh out loud funny.

Totally worth sitting through a bloody Minions short for.

Also that was the worst rendition of the Mr. Grinch song I’ve ever fucking heard.

      Two questions:

      1) Does this film have any Minion equivalents?

      2) Are there any points where the writing gets overly juvenile? (Memes, grossout, etc.)

1.) No. There is this reindeer character named Fred who could count for one, but not only is he not intrusive, only appearing briefly for a few scenes before leaving the film, but his involvement actually helps the Grinch's arc and the movie's pacing. So he becomes a good addition rather than a detriment.

2.) There is a screaming goat that's only in one scene, but that's all there is in regards to anything memelike.
