  1. It's even more embarrassing when you realize Trump, as the president, has access to a variety of more reliable intelligence agency's. He shouldn't have to use any TV news outlet.
  2. So there's a behind the scenes feature with Genndy talking about the music of the new season Tyler Bates worked on both John Wick films. Now I'm even more excited.
  3. So um guys, question.

After I went and locked my bank account, the person who wants me to babysit emailed me and told me I should spend a specific amount of money for groceries. Is that normal?

  4. Is it possible to edit emails after they've been sent?

      SenEDDtor Missile

If using Gmail, if you undo the sending fast enough (30 seconds or something?), then you could edit it. If you don't, then it's too late.

    2. Indigo Rush

      Indigo Rush

Once it's officially sent, it cannot be edited.

  5. Avoiding spoilers just got a bit more tougher. While I can easily avoid them on the interwebs thanks to some add-on's, it's practically impossible to avoid them while playing online games where people have their username spoiling a plot point. :/

That sounds really unfortunate, let me go and see what SnapeKillsDumbledore thinks of it

While your doing that, I'll go complain to my friend, DarthVaderisLuke's father about it.

  6. Anyway, to keep this topic more on track: I still don't know what to make of Sonic 2017. I always take the wait and see approach when it comes to video games nowadays. I'll have more firm opinion when Sega releases the first game play trailer.
  7. Well shadolax, if you want a reason why a Shadow the Hedgehog game can't/won't be made by Platinum, it's because Platinum don't even take requests in the first place. If I recall, Platinum makes games they want to make. I think I remember a lot of people requesting them to make a Kill la Kill game. Apparently Hideki got so many requests for it that he got tired of it and bluntly said no, and that he develops games he wants to make. Also I really don't think Platinum would be interested in making a Shadow the Hedgehog game anyway, looking at their gaming history.
  8. So apparently the footage shown of the cartoon wasn't final at all, and was in fact internal animation tests.
  9. If you have a Nintendo 3DS, you should start with the Phoenix Wright Trilogy, which is the first 3 games remastered. If you don't have a 3DS, you can still get the originals on Amazon for cheap.
  10. Can someone do me a solid and go to the Dragon Age wiki for me and tell me how fast the website is loading?

Never thought I'd actually do this but hey, a solid's a solid.

...Yeah, I tried and it takes forever.

  11. Been seeing this a lot lately, so allow me to help with something: if your trying to avoid spoilers from something on Youtube, you can use an extension called Youtube Keyword Blocker, where you add keywords to the list and videos will stop showing up on your feed. It works for Google Chrome, not sure about anything else.

  12. So this is interesting. From what I can gather, Miyazaki disapproves of the use of letting AI do all the animating. While I agree with him(if that is what he's saying) him bringing up how his the animation reminded him of his friend who has a disability is strange.
  13. I hate to change the subject from this lovely conversation, but I wanna say this: I am utterly convinced that I should vote from now on, and will vote in the next four years. With that said though, voting for a democrat in Louisiana seems like a fool errand for two reasons: 1: From what I've gathered, in terms of the Electoral College, Louisiana is a very small piece of it, and 2: from what the little I've researched, it's mostly a red state, so.... At the very least there's something else on the ballot I guess...
  14. So, over 46 % of eligible voters chose not to vote. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VAcF0eJ06y_8T4o2gvIL4YcyQy8pxb1zYkgXF76Uu1s/htmlview Sad to say I was one of the ones that believed my vote wouldn't matter and that there was no way Trump was gonna win this. Needless to say, I'm sorry for that.
  15. So the executive of Adult Swim had an interesting reason for not hiring women writers:

    http://www.polygon.com/platform/amp/2016/10/4/13156398/adult-swim-female-writers

"when you put women in the writers room, you get conflict, not comedy." As a fan of Adult Swim, this disgusts me.

Girl: "Eh, I dunno. I think it's kinda sexi-"

      Adult swim, you've disappointed me.

I heavily doubt he should have said that.

When you put women in the writer's room you get conflict, comedy, or whatever else is spawned from interaction among that particular group of unique human beings.

When you don't put women in the writer's room you get controversy.

When you put Adult Swim in charge of deciding who gets to be in the writer's room you get poor decision making.

      Get the picture?

He then went on to clarify his statement. And by clarify, I mean contradict himself and somehow come off as more sexist.

      Quote

"women don’t tend to like conflict, comedy often comes from conflict, so that’s probably why we (or others) have so few female projects."

Do women create too much conflict or try to avoid it too much? Is conflict key to comedy or harmful to it? The world may never know.

Oh yeah, and any problems you have with him aren't worth expressing unless you've pitched something to him. And if you have, your issues are probably invalid because he's a helpful, open man, and if you can't handle "decent suggestions", you're the one in the wrong. No really:

      Quote

"If unnamed sources want to complain, complain about me after I’ve read the script you asked me to read or tossed you out of my office for pitching something I didn’t like," Lazzo wrote on Reddit. "If you did come to me I bet I offered some decent suggestions on how to accomplish whatever you wanted to do."
