  1. I'm probably in the minority here, but while not completely ruining the game, the weapon breaking in BOTW really hurts my enjoyment of the game.

You're definitely not in a minority, loads of people are saying that and I think I'm in the same camp with taking issue with it. Something's wrong when weapons from shrines are barely any stronger than what you can take from common enemies.

I'm not huge on it either. It would be nice if early on you got an unbreakable but basic weapon. That way all the other weapons would still have some value but you would still have something to fall back on if the need arose.

Well it doesn't help that even though I love this game, I do have a whole bunch of things I hate about it. Including the difficulty, which like no one agrees with me on.

I'm pretty on and off about it. While I wish I could keep some weapons forever, I do like how it introduces you to new weapons as a result of them breaking. Keeps the game's pace up honestly. Also, while I'm still pretty early in the game, I can't think of a time where I didn't have a pretty full inventory of weapons even after some rough enemies. The game does a pretty good job of keeping you stocked.

Hell, if there's one thing I don't like about the game it's how limited your inventory space is. At times I'm almost happy when something is about to break. Better get full use out of it than having to drop it.

You know you can increase your inventory right?

Yep, spent all of my time with the game yesterday finding seeds and doing just that. It's just that around that time I also started finding a lot of great items too so I still feel like I don't have enough spots. DX
