I didn't really care either way until James Cameron talked trash about superhero movies, but now I'm in the same boat, wanting Endgame to win.

      Spoiler

of course no matter what there's always gonna be that person that's like "but gone with the wind tho"

If there ever were a more appropriate movie to do it, it would be this one.

A movie like this, nay a series that does something like this as successfully as Avengers, is probably never going to happen again in mine or anyone else's life-time.

I've hated James Cameron for years, guy tried to copyright our national monster (You can't own the Loch Ness Monster!) and gloats about how his film got the most money, when in actuality he just used a new technology that meant he could jack up prices. Guy needs taking down a peg.

How the hell did Avatar do so well anyway? Sure it had some great visuals, but that's about as good as it got.

I never saw Avatar and from what I hear, it was basically just another "Military bad. Save these ugly blue creatures." film.

I'm guessing it was just because it apparently had super breath-taking 3D, which, I didn't care about at the time it came out and care even less now that 3D is officially something I avoid in all films when they come out.

As I said, Avatar was the film that brought in 3D technology. Everyone went to see it as it was a new way of experiencing films, of course with a new inflated ticket price. He held the market on this new way of watching films.

Forget where I read it but I heard that Cameron is gonna try and somehow pioneer glasses-free 3D technology for theaters with his future Avatar movies. While I don't like Avatar much (or Cameron himself for that matter,) I'm part of that 2% who kinda liked 3D and wished to see how glasses-free-3D would've done if it were ever adopted by the public beyond the 3DS, so I atleast wanna see where that goes...if it does "go" at all.

@Dr. Detective Mike having watched Endgame in 3d (Ironic because of this conversation lol), I'd definitely recommend it for that.
