  1. Happy birthday, boss!

  2. Your Shadow drawing looks very nice! Only one problem. He's smiling. I'm kidding, it looks fantastic. Nice work! Thanks for sharing. ^^
  3. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 50 posts to view.
  4. That's exactly what I do, along with '06, Adventure 2, Unleashed, and Generations.
  5. I enjoy Sonic '06 as well. It's far from perfect, but I can still find enjoyment in the game. I especially like how it's in the Adventure formula.
  6. I don't know if I agree with that or not. While they have had their share of times not feeling so useful, there's also been times after Adventure 2, like in Sonic Unleashed, that had a pretty good plot concerning the Chaos Emeralds. I mean, it did help Sonic put the planet back together, not to mention helped him defeat Perfect Dark Gaia, because we all know Chip didn't do that much.
  7. Quite a few critics reviewed the game as poor. My advice? Play it for yourself. Form your own opinion. People here will be telling you it was good and bad all day, only you can decide for yourself what you think. ------- As for me, I didn't think it was that bad, but it wasn't that good. I think the Sonic Stadium's review of the game was dead-on. It had its down, sure. But it also had its ups! A few notes: there will be a part of two in the story you don't like very much, it's happened to everyone. Also, there's a few unnecessary difficulty spikes in the game, some I did not appreciate. For those who have played, grinding levels anyone?
  8. I was asking an actual question and hoping for a real answer, but instead I get a bunch of "no one can be called the biggest Sonic fan" responses, which are the answers I was hoping not to get. There's a way to be called the biggest Sonic fan, I was just wondering what the fandom thought it could be. Like maybe if there was an event in the Summer of Sonic convention where every fan could test their knowledge or so, just something like that. Maybe even if there was a "Fans vs the Staff" competition. And to all those who left the response about height and weight, "fat" isn't a nice word and some people take it offensively. I feel like it was more of a post booster than actually attempting to participate. It has nothing to do with the "true Sonic fan" bologna you hear all over the forums. If you like Sonic, you're a true fan, simple as that. Also, I'm a little disappointed that you would participate in the immaturity of that joke, Hogfather. A respectable member of the SSMB staff should know better.
  9. It's a message. ^^ And while I understand your argument, I have to say that's where hopefully maturity will take its place. ^^
  10. Hi! ^^ So, after a recent chat with Mike Pollok on Twitter, I've come to the conclusion that our fandom doesn't have a "biggest fan". Who is the biggest Sonic fan? Nobody know, right? Sure sure, everyone could come out and say "it's me!" or "it's me again!", stuff like that. But how would we determine who the biggest fan in the Sonic fandom is? There are members, I'm sure, who have spent many moons in their lifetime just studying about Sonic for the fun of it, some members may know so much about Sonic, it's really hard to find a challenge. Then there could be some, who just know what the name of the first level for the Hero Story in Sonic Adventure 2 is called (because they just played it yesterday). I'm just wondering, how would the "biggest Sonic fan" be determined? A simple Sonic-off (whatever that means!), or something much much bigger? What do you guys think? I'm just wondering! ^^
  11. Dear Princess Celestia,

Dragonfire letters are so out of style. In the future, contact me through emails, texts, and blood sacrifices.

  12. Agreed! It does seem to be a very interesting looking episode! I wonder what's going to happen?
  13. Hi! ^^ So, don't hate on me, but from the places I've been on the web, it seems that the Sonic fans are the butt of fandom jokes, know what I mean? I know it sounds kind of mean, but I'm just asking what you guys think? I've heard things like "I also think she misunderstands the fanbase. We're NOT the Sonic fanbase here." (Not going to source this direct quote, sorry! ^^") At the time, I thought it was kind of funny, until I realized I was categorized under this fandom. Not specifically the part that complains about everything, but just a Sonic fan in general, maybe even to an extreme. So, here's where I ask you guys, does anyone else feel like this? Has the Sonic fandom gained such a bad rep that we're nothing but jokes now? It's kind of bothers me. Discussion time! ^^
