  1. Finally sat down to watch I Choose You.

    I'm up to the Charmeleon/Incineroar battle, and I can see where people are coming from about the pacing issues. And it saddens me deeply that two decades later, the dub writers are still lowballing their target audience's intelligence and having characters constantly spout the painfully obvious and repeat each other's sentences.

      I thought the movie was disappointing on a base level, the dub just added to it. Heck if the 4kids writers and voice actors were involved, that would've atleast given it more value to me from the pure nostalgia factor.

      Heck, Veronica Taylor's still got it too, so I'm just even more saddened that they never got her back given all the money the franchise makes now.

      Yeah, she definitely hasn't lost her touch. But as the Sonic series can attest to, bad voice direction can ruin a performance just as easily as bad VA's.

      I was actually looking forward to the CGI Mewtwo remake, but if the dub quality has improved this little, I think I'll just stick to Deadpoolchu.
