Sunwalker got a reaction from Yuli Ban in The Lara-Su Chronicles and Ken Penders topic - READ PAGE 164, POST 4096
He is talking about the statement of ownership, which is printed once a year in the final pages of the comic. Last time it was published was in March (Sonic the Hedgehog #258 and Sonic Universe #61).
It tells, among a lot of legalese, the monthly average number of copies of the comic during the previous year. For your convenience, here are the figures:
    - Sonic the Hedgehog: 47,739 copies per month.
    - Sonic Universe: 36,998 copies per month.

By the way, I have found an archive with the STH copies numbers until 2008:
    http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~bauerle/circ.htm

In the 1990's the comic had an monthly average of over 150,000 copies. So Penders' claims about the numbers are partially correct.

Ken assumes that his writing is the only factor in the sales numbers, but it is not. We should remember that the Sonic craze was at the top at this time. It is normal a franchise to be more popular in the next few years after its inception, and when the dust settles down the figures decrease and they keeps at an stable value. Also there are economic factors, comics sales have declined for everyone in the previous decade.

I do not know about Knuckles. Maybe someone could dig the old Knuckles comics to verify its statement of ownerships?

I have found on Deviant Art a better 3D render of Lien-Da:

Credit goes to Rafa Knight (the same artist who does the Sonic 3D covers for Archie).

I did it. I read it all.
        Every page.
        Every post.
What the Fuckles indeed. Can I get my time back, please? In the time it took to read through this thread I could have written, drawn, and published my own comic book (which, actually, is something I need to get back into!).
        …
…but in all seriousness, this has been a mesmerizing read for a number of reasons. The phrase, "Dis guy… is un-fuckin-believable!" comes to mind. Now I practically grew up with the Sonic the Hedgehog series, having owned a SEGA Genesis as opposed to a (Super) Nintendo. Hell, I even bought the damned 32X add-on (and I still laugh at the fact that 32X Doom's credits end with a C:\DOOM>_ prompt). So, being an American fan it wasn't long before I started watching The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM), and read Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series (beginning with issue #¼ that I received as part of a promotion for staying at a Howard Johnson's). I only received a scant handful of comics until convincing my parents to get me a subscription… that was right around the time Endgame was occurring and I was hooked; doubly so when Knuckles received his own spin-off series!
So, it's safe to say, I was a big fan of Penders in my youth… at least at first. While I enjoyed the first dozen issues or so, with "Moses Knuckles" being my favorite story in all truth, I honestly can't remember anything beyond that. Like… anything. I think that was around the time Manny Galan stopped illustrating the issues?, 'cause that was also a big reason I was a fan—loved the art.
That's why seeing Penders reduced to… this… is so depressing. What happened?
Now I'm not blaming the guy for wanting credit and royalties and such for the characters he created; it's natural to want recognition for the hard work you put into something. It also doesn't help that Archie was so terrible at backing up their contracts, apparently (at least more so than a mere photocopy, I understand?). Likewise I can't blame the guy for wanting to do more with those very same characters that he's made.
…but this is so not the way.
He needs to sever all ties he had with Archie and Sonic, give himself a fresh start, not hang so desperately onto the past. Look, when I was in high school I made Sonic fan characters… well, mostly it was just the cast dressed as characters from other games, like Knux Lao (Knuckles as Kung Lao from Mortal Kombat 3), Ruby (Fiona Fox as Jade from Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3), Sal-Li (Princess Sally as Chun-Li from Street Fighter II), and others. I even used to have a GeoCities website (and Lithium and later ProBoards forum) called "MK-Sonic's Hidden Forest" (Sonic as Smoke from UMK3, though I never could come up with a better name combination; as such his super form was "Ultimate MK-Sonic"). It was all in fun, but the difference was…
    I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL!!
Now don't get me wrong; there is a world of difference between a professional writer/illustrator and some punk kid in school doing this for fun… except that's not what I'm seeing here. What I'm seeing is no different than your typical amateur-hour Sonic fan art. Hell, going through this whole thread I've seen imaginative reinterpretations of Penders' characters that go above an beyond mere Sonic expies—when other people can draw your characters better than you can, there's something very, very wrong. I mean it really doesn't help when a character is basically "Knuckles in a wig" or "Knuckles' Darth Vader cosplay."
It's also not helping him when hey's laying claim to "original concepts" like "Evil Sonic" or "Robo-Robotnik." Hey, Ken, question—if you took Sonic the Hedgehog out of Evil Sonic the Hedgehog, or Dr. Robotnik out of Robo-Robotnik, what are you left with it?
That doesn't mean he has to abandon everything, though; just ditch the ties to Sonic and Archie, like the "Princess of Acorn." Or if you have to have her, don't make the name sound so damned blatant! She could be the… "Matron of Artisia," thrust into a position of power and responsibility with the loss of her mother in the last, great war. She may not be ready but she'll damn well give it her all to aid her people in their time of need. There. You take Princess Sally, strip off what identified her as "Princess Sally," leaving just the bare-bones concept of a young political/royal figurehead living in times of trouble, and build something original off of that! She doesn't have to be a princess, per-se, her kingdom doesn't have to be called "Acorn," and she certainly doesn't have to be an anthro-chipmunk.
From what I've heard, 50 Shades of Grey started off as a Twilight fan fic. Now I've never seen the film but from what I can tell the author's done a good job of distancing the story from its source material, so the idea of taking his Knuckles' characters and creating something unrelated to its source is not impossible.
With that said, don't make them furries! You want them to be aliens, Penders? Make them aliens! Don't pull this "oh they just coincidentally happen to look like Earth animals" bull shit! Or if you have to make them furries, and considering his desire to give them more human-like proportions (relatively speaking), drop the Sonic aesthetic! You're not helping yourself by making your damned "Echy'dnyas" look like SEGA echidnas. "But they're not echidnas! They're aliens… named 'Echy'dnyas." Fuck you! Stop trying to pass off Future Knuckles as your damned "Praetorian." "K'nox" my ass! You really couldn't come up with anything better than that? Even the damned hat's not original, considering it originated with that Sonic anime movie. "What?, they're not using it!"
Look, I'd be amiss to say that I've never referenced other work in my own artistry. I gave a (then antagonistic) character yellow eyes because Skut Farkus, the big bully from A Christmas Story, had yellow eyes; but that same character, Morgan Powys, has her own history—an heir to a prestigious family who's parents left the stuffy atmosphere and overbearing grandfather figurehead to start life anew, brightening their home with twin siblings… only to have her lose her parents at a young age, leading her to effectively raise her siblings as a surrogate mother, making up for her lost childhood by becoming a party girl (so now less of an antagonist for another character of mine, and more "she's not bad, she's just drawn that way" type). Yeah, the pressure and responsibility gets to her, and while she's imagined what it'd be like without having to take care of her siblings… in the end she wouldn't give them up for anything.
Or a little closer "on-the-nose" is a cutesy devil girl of mine, Karen 'Akamu, who was heavily influenced by Kelly Kapowski from Saved by the Bell. Her appearance is still somewhat familiar, albeit taller and much, much curvier, plus she has a cheerful, bubbly personality and has a very late 80's/early 90's New Wave fashion sense… well, that's also why I've considered the character to be a bit on the one-dimensional side and so has been reduced to just "for fun" drawings now and then.
……okay, that was a bit of a tangent, but I think my point was there's a difference between a reference or influence and a blatant copy/paste. Penders, keep your Praetorian… just strip Knuckles from it. I believe he's gone on record (in at least one of his Tweets, anyway) saying that the Praetorian's personality and demeanor are different from regular Knuckles, being a father and a figurehead in a war-torn age. Fine! Use that! Just slap that onto a more original design! Don't just make it look like "Knuckles fan character #23849 …but he's different 'cause he's got a backstory!" Speaking of backstories, it wouldn't kill him to give his characters some flaws, make them more believable. I'm a fan of Dungeons & Dragons and while I don't care too much for 5th Edition I will applaud it for dedicating part of character creation to personality traits, ideas, bonds, and flaws—they're often just one or two sentences long, but that's often enough to get a good feel for what the character's like and how well-rounded that character can be. Say, Geoffrey St. John is certainly skilled but he's a stubborn hot-head that makes him difficult to work with!
I was thinking about how he could handle the first story—Lara-Su is a brash teenager who grew up in a relative paradise, never knowing the harsh realities that her parents had experienced, and thus doesn't give her responsibilities the care they deserve… to the point that she bets away her "praetorianship" …and loses! Not only is this a huge wake-up call for her, but as it turns out the one she bet against, the one she lost this responsibility to… ends up no worse in the position than she might have been. So she leaves, goes on adventures, helps people in need, grows as a character, grows to be the "praetorian" she should have been… and perhaps down the road some cataclysm strikes her home and she's called back, offering her aid and showing her family and friends how she's changed. Maybe the rival praetorian passes the title back to her and maybe she accepts or maybe she doesn't, but I'd like to think that's enough of a story base to work off of (fuck, and here I stopped working on my own ideas because I have a hard time starting a story).
Well, I think I've run out of gas for this post and have said probably all I could say without going over certain points in more detail. I'm keeping my eye on this thread to see what'll become of Penders and his work in the future. No joke, I actually considered buying one of his Praetorian iPhone cases… and I don't even own an iPhone! I'd just look at it and be reminded of what not to do.
Don't do what Donny Don't Ken Penders does!

Ken Penders is walking in circles around The Lara Su Chronicles for years now. There is some new art once in every blue moon, but truth be told there was no considerable progress since the settlement with Archie. This makes to imagine that his whole legal brouhaha was never about making his story, but rather about making a point. Though which point exactly is anyone's guess. Or it could be just that he works better when he is under the direction of an editor and deadlines, when he is on his own he seems to not know how to manage time and resources in an effective manner, and never gets anywhere.
Better advice that I heard about witting is to write often and prolifically, and also to read a lot. By the time in which an amateur writer have spent years polishing a single chapter of his "magnum opus", a professional writer have already published lots of stuff and made lots of money.

I understand where you are coming from. Even if it is just because it helped to feel more relaxed, it is also an way that it helped, though I have never seem the belief in Santa Claus to have similar effects. And God can also acts through natural means, like giving the circumstances to find an effective medical treatment. Anyways, the way I worded myself was intentional: I just described what happened, I didn't get into the matter of why it happened.
Anyways, the part about stress might be of use for you. Maybe if you can get you relaxed in some form before sleeping, it could help. Reading a book, listening to music or doing exercises are things that come to my mind, but I imagine that you can think about other stuff. I am not sure about watching something or playing games, I heard that those activities actually make more difficult to sleep, possibly because of the bright screen and because your mind is more active. What I heard is that it is recommended to not watch or play anything at least an hour before going to bed, two hours is better.
    Take care

I have around 50 hours on this game and I am liking it. I have learned about it just recently, so I avoided the hype train. I came to the game without any expectations, so I guess that this was why I was able to enjoy it. I am also glad that I have spoiled me about what happens when you get to the center of the galaxy, so I will not be disappointed and I know that I don't have to rush there, I can just enjoy the exploration part.
I found out that I had the most fun with some self-imposed challenges. I once got a new ship in an extreme planet, the sentinels just attack you on sight there plus the planet was very toxic; I needed to get supplies to fix and refuel the ship under those circumstances, and it was quite daunting and rewarding. Sometimes I decide to actually walk a large distance to some building, instead of just quickly doing by ship; dealing with the terrain, battling the sentinels, and looking for rare resources along the way also make it more rewarding.
I saw someone people on Reddit commenting that the game got much better and challenging for them after ditching the scanner, and having to find resources by exploration. I haven't tried this myself yet, however.

So now that I've beaten the game, what can I say? It does play like Megaman games... unfortunately those games are Megaman X5 & X6. Constant chatter you can't escape from, with stages that don't compliment your characters abilities, lousy enemy placement, and mechanics that don't work as intended. For myself this was a massive reminder of everything I couldn't stomach in the later X games.

Oh yeah I forgot to go into the boss battles. So you'll have your standard bosses like seismic, dynatron, counter shade, or battalion. Simple if not boring/irritating, but then you have Pyro, Cryo, and Avi. In the case of Avi and Cryo you have to make sure to shoot carefully because the both of them are capable of elevating themselves to heights beck cant reach.
What this means is that if you damage them too much and they're out of reach when they start flashing purple, they'll regain their health and there isn't a fucking thing you can do about it. Thanks Comcept.
Now onto Pyro, Pyro hits hard and telegraphs his attacks by yelling out loud. He also has an instant-kill attack that you have to listen out for in the second phase of that fight. The real problem though? Doctor white cuts in and starts talking to Beck cutting off any and all telegraphs Pyro might give you, and there's a good chance it'll that instant-kill attack.
    Again thank you Comcept
Edit: Also some advice for the final boss's second form. Use Battalion's missile.

Sunwalker reacted to Frogging101 in Suggestion: Restore link to #sonicstadium
I sent emails and private messages about this to the administration back in December. I think they got lost or something. So I'll post it here, because other people might be interested too.
I've been a regular user of the #sonicstadium IRC channel for over two years now. It's not dead, but it generally has a low level of activity. I think the main issue is a lack of visibility. SSMB used to display a green icon at the top left which opened a web-based IRC client. It's not there anymore, and it wasn't very effective to begin with; when the boards went down, many who came to #sonicstadium said that they had never noticed the icon, and were completely unaware of the channel's existence.
My proposal is that a link be placed in the navigation bar on SSMB that opens a new window containing the web client, as it did before (though separate from the SSR stream). Not only that, but to improve engagement it should have the current number of active users displayed next to it. That sounds like a tall order, but I've already done half of the work in that department; I've written a plugin for the IRC bot that keeps this file up to date with the current number of active users in #sonicstadium (where anyone who has talked in the last 15 minutes is counted as active). The file is updated every minute. Here's what it could look like:

That is, if you have no creativity or web design experience, and did it in 5 minutes with your browser's HTML editor. But that's the gist of it.
I am by no means a front-end web developer and I have never used IPB, so I don't know what the options are in terms of grabbing text from other locations. I assume server-side includes or even Javascript in the browser could do it, but I'm not sure. And a liberal application of regex to ensure that someone can't inject code into the website (!). The file is hosted on a reliable VPS with a fast connection, and I can add or modify anything necessary to make it easier (and/or more secure) for the site to parse/retrieve it. I'm sure something can be figured out in any case.
I want to see #sonicstadium become the official TSS community chat room again
P.S. My nickname in the channel is FluffyFoxeh.

By the way, I have also noticed that the images uploaded to the forum were also lost, but I can recover them from a previous backup of January 7th 2016, that I have on my computer. I will upload them to the backup linked above once I finish digging them up.
I am also getting in touch with Ian about what I could recover, and I will see where else I can post this link. Anyone with doubts or concerns about this backup, feel free to PM me on this forum
On a related note, here goes some advice. Contrary to the popular belief, things do disappear from the Internet. So if you see some important page that you think you will need to refer later, then bookmark it and save it. Aside from saving on the computer, there are a couple of online places that allow you to archive pages: archive.is and web.archive.org (it has a save page form at the bottom). This way you decrease the chances of important material getting lost, especially when you need to refer to them in the future.
I have also made a script that submitted to Web Archive all the URLs I have found, so Web Archive has almost all of the forum archived in a browsable form, wxcept for the URLs that went down before it had the chance to crawl, but the archive is pretty extensive anyways .

Didn't I say the next one was due today? Because I was bang on the money!
    Episode 10;
Let's not dawdle with this one, it's the first ever SSMB BumbleKast cliffnotes!
-Thoughts/ideas on canon pathway for Shadow in self-titled game - In game, dabbles in all three of the plotlines (hero, neutral, dark) [but there's at least five with the different semi-dark and semi-hero???] to find out who he is because it's theme of the game, ultimately takes hero path because final story is him beating devil doom and saving world, but would go to Black Arms for answers which would bring him into conflict with Eggman and bringing in android idea, coming into his own on hero, realising that he is his own hedgehog.
-If Ian had the ability to completely dictate a Sonic game story, how would he do it - Mentions relation to Flynn4Sonic Twitter thing, some people under false impression that Ian would have more control than he would in that scenario, if he was picked up, SEGA would have him write the flesh for the bones (plot, themes, characters etc), in hypothetical scenario where he did have more control he would go all out and do an RPG, based on B-N's Tales Of engine, travel to multiple regions, interact with a whole slew of characters that don't have to be gameplay balanced, part of it goes to Mobotropolis where they talk to Sally, Nicole, Antoine etc, Meropis and their folk etc etc, journey around the world allows them to explore the comic characters and the game characters, maybe if you find one island off to the side there's Mighty who's been training on his own and he becomes that special bonus boss fight, references cameo battles in Tales Of, cameos would be Mario characters, some system with Chaos Emeralds that would let your character go super (he'd ignore the male hedgehog only thing), alternatively empowered or something, story would be search for the Chaos Emeralds, Fang steals one at one point to turn 7 lands into 8 lands, side chapters to delve into extra characters, final showdown on not-Death Egg, fully voiced skits.
-Other classic Mega Man characters he would have liked to have used - If they'd have gotten through 4 would have had Cossack Bot show up more often, more mileage out of Proto Man, would have liked to have introduced Waltz, would have liked to bring back the Light Robot Masters (classic and MM9), Bass.
-References in comic that went completely unnoticed - There have probably been on several occasions, but would have to go back and re-read himself to recall them and see what got picked up on.
-If you could write a proper end to the old continuity how would you do it - Two joke answers; Wait for LHT or Rocks Fall, Everybody Dies, if he had the opportunity we would have wound up similar to where we are now, wanted to bring things to a cataclysmic finale and bring things closer to game canon but so long term he doesn't have specifics, if he has opportunity to do it all over again, he would have brought the old continuity to something of a closure or big victory instead of everyone being torn down and launched things closer to official SEGA bible of the series, lemons to grenades to bringing houses down.
-If he had to kill off one main character, why and how - Probably wouldn't be of his own volition (aka from editor or SEGA), whatever reason they had, right now there's nobody he'd want to kill off, hates revolving door of death in comics so they'd stay dead. Kyle wouldn't either.
-Ever made a decision in the book he later regretted - Yes, can be said about anything creative because you have power of hindsight for ideas, went too far with the 100-gun salute to Tommy Turtle where he was turned to ash as it was pretty graphic for a kids book, signified how evil ADAM was, how powerful and yet powerless Super Sonic was so it was strong emotionally, still pretty happy with where we are now.
-What he'd most like to see in a new Sonic game - Would love to see Generations 2 or Colours 2 because he thought it was the right way to do Sonic - longer levels to enjoy without tedium, smaller levels to play with gimmicks, 2D sidescrolling that felt close enough to classics without being pixel-perfect, ridiculous and OTT high-speed sections in 3D with twitch reactions, red star rings, simple stories that were charming and did what they needed to do, thing he'd like most would be to take those formulae and dabble in Generations idea of extended cast being power-ups of sorts and playing with that more, phase out Wisps in favour of that maybe eg hit item bubble and turn into Tails briefly and fly, turn into Knuckles and have a few seconds of instant invincibility to tear through wall and badniks, have them like that instead of fully playable because at this point it's like 30 extra characters [more like 12-14 at most], just really likes his speedy platforming, some lip service for the extended cast, Kyle wants to see an original game with the Hedgehog Engine [Retro, Kyle. Hedgehog is a lighting engine unrelated to the following titles!] that was used for the classic remakes of 1, 2 and CD. or true Sonic 4, very disappointed with the music most, discussion about Sonic 4's music compared to the other classics, Ian expresses idea of Sonic Lineage, HD remake of Sonic 1 that leads into 2, then CD, then S3&K, then Sonic 4 which has episodes 1, 2 and 3 [obviously that would have to be made first. But it got cancelled], Sonic Advances and Battle done same way for encore [note: None of what is expressed here is necessarily my opinion. In fact, I quite disagree on a lot of it. I just write what I hear].
-Opinions/thoughts on characters he changed, before and after writing them - Definitely Sonic, big challenge when he first got on book because he bored Ian the most; good guy, jock, that was it, everyone seemed to have more interesting angles, "How do I make this character interesting to me so that my interest and enthusiasm carries over into the book and thus everyone else's entertainment?", as described before, he compares it to driving and being cut off, Sonic would always have the perfect one-liner, epitome of right thing at right time, jerk to those who deserve it, not to those who don't, once he realised that and put it against Eggman who is meticulous and smart who can't keep up on multiple levels, dynamic developed and became a lot of fun to write, otherwise not really on other characters, with Sally he set out to repair her character because she'd been through so much by the time he got on the book and gotten so far away from what made her interesting to begin with, get back to the point where she could be on par with Sonic and be an interesting character next to him, all went out the window with reboot so just started with how he wanted her to be from get-go.
-Story for Sonic/Mega Man where end result wasn't as good as he planned - Doesn't know if Worlds Unite came together perfectly but didn't have as much control over as other stories, didn't necessarily tell the best story, could explain it away but in the end didn't make it shine, still fun especially in the end, nothing else comes to mind too much, House of Cards was going to be multi-parter, not just Sonic and Tails but other Freedom Fighters and where they stood with loyalties to each other and the kingdom and ideals, wanted big exploration of team and their dynamic, then was told to make it two issues and move onto Enerjak, not all messages came through but end message was that Sonic cares for Tails but isn't thoughtful about how he does it and learns from that, friendship is stronger for it.
-Most difficult transition from fan to professional - Learning how to regulate fan expectation and desire, personal desire and licensor/editorial desire, into something that can please a majority, sometimes skewed too much towards fans, sometimes skewed to be too safe with those in power and sometimes sacrificed what he wants to see but that's part of the job, would like to think he had a decent enough balance early on, and found that balance now.
-Character easiest to get in the head of and connect with - Not gotten as deep as question asker describes, not really anyone who's taken over, taken to treat it like method acting but never really taken the wheel for themselves, slips rather comfortably into Sonic and Eggman having written them for so long, fun to write.
-Goes back to previous question about character he'd being back (see episode 9) - Dr Finitevus; unique voice, villain, goal, fun to write for, cool creepy sinister, commanded respect, had most ease writing that.
-Why Mighty is considered to be so strong when Knuckles is said to be as strong as Sonic is fast and Mighty was never shown as strong in the games he appeared in [SegaSonic the Hedgehog disagrees with that] - Makes sense for his character, name is Mighty, don't name him that and then not make him mighty [you don't name a character Charmy then make them a brat...wait a sec], existed across various incarnations, thinks it was in early Chaotix manual material [I checked. It does in the Western ones, not in the Japanese one. Again though, SSH], gives him some diversity where everyone else is speedy to have him mountain-moving strong and not big the cat [ironically power was the only class that would have overlapped in Chaotix, so it wasn't for the group], Kyle goes back to earlier question (see episode 9) to say that Mighty was one of his favourite characters, joke about sharing colour scheme with Shadow.
-Have Sonic X and Sonic Underground universes been erased following SGW - Tricky matter since it's not Mobius prime any more, for now discount them but not entirely because where the worlds where Secret RIngs and Black Knight fall could be considered parallel words but nature of multiverse in this incarnation of the series is up in the air,for reasons he can't get into, wouldn't worry about it right now.
-Favourite cookie and why - Girl Scout Mint cookie, thin mints, Kyle's is White chocolate macadamia, caramel delights, Ian doesn't like white chocolate [throw him in the dungeon], can still agree on Oreo [PS none of these are cookies in the UK bar the Chips Ahoy they don't like].
-One story they'd turn into an animated feature - Sonic Universe #3 where Shadow finds Gamma, Omega tries to hunt Gamma down, Shadow learns that Gamma has developed his own soul, when the bots battle they're evenly matched though uneven in abilities and power, Gamma beams his free will into Omega, which is why Omega rebels against Eggman and joins team Dark, loves Tracey's drawing of it, could see it shot for shot as he was writing, #175 just for visual spectacle, Kyle mentions Champions, Spark of Life, Pirate Plunder Panic, Ian also mentions Babylon Rising (for Lord Kukku scene).
-Why he let the fundies make the place so miserable for some people and get away with it [oh shit, religion, brace yourselves] - Kyle doesn't get it at first, one of the things that made him happy about the farewell thread was that some of the more fundamentalist members had their world view expanded, one in particular who was resistant who Ian heatedly, passionately and personally disagreed with to the point he had to remove himself from any kind of administration because he knew he couldn't look at it in a fair point of view because he was so displeased with their stance, but they weren't outright attacking anyone so within the rules to say their stuff, debate happened, believes the person was told to knock it off, they did, when they tried to bring it up again, very quickly and decisively told to knock it off again (not necessarily publically as to not make it a big event), fundies weren't necessarily the only ones who brought down the fun of the forum, could go on at length about some fold did to make things not as enjoyable [for example, I existed], not one particular group or person, especially those who stood in the rules for years but still made things unpleasant for everyone else, everyone was given a fair shake, some were given more than a fair shake because some were able to turn it around, that's why three strike system existed, after 10 years of controlling people, trying to get them to play fair and have an open mind he's tired, for every fundie who caused a ruckus, there were two or three people who lost their minds and couldn't approach it objectively and in a mature way, no one innocent or guilty party in any case, they did what they could, thought they did a good job in the end.
-How would Other M have ended if continued - More or less would have ended with everyone dying or moving on, Sonic returning to the main universe, Bean and Bunnie would have had a happy ending otherwise everyone dies, Other M Sonic would go Super for the final battle against evil Pails, not only would be gold but whatever he wore would turn into a cape, mechanical shoes got bigger into Gundam-style boots with harley-esque exhaust pipes coming out of the straps, Other M was an invaluable learning experience for him, it had lots of help from generous artists and such, got 30 issues, translated into three other languages [you can bearly hear Aleah correcting Ian on one of them], so preparation really.

...If it means anything, I never got striked.

    ...Um.

Oh yeah, one of the interesting parts of that finishing Q&A is the Conquering Storm naming. She is now just Conquering Storm, not the Bride of the Conquering Storm. She still has a clan, but it definitely seems more likely that the four houses and brides idea is out.

So I was browsing ancient sites about Archie Sonic, and I found an interesting excerpt written by Ken Penders. It is from an online editorial for the Archie website. This part has got my attention (source, my emphasis):
    From: http://web.archive.org/web/19980109135030/http://archiecomics.com/sonic/editor.html
I find it to be particularly ironic, especially considering the events that would unfold years later...
