      Too soon bro

      Must be nice to generalize like that huh.

      People are really excited about the idea of this game being disappointing and I'm not sure why this is

    4. Penny

      the hype hasn't backfired though

      1. It's a joke, and a relatively tame one by the standards of this board.

      2. Generalize = Exaggeration for a joke.

      3.  It's not the idea of the game being disappointing and being excited for it. It's just what happens when you hype a game up to an extreme level, especially when it's over another game like Forces. Ofc I don't want it to be disappointing but when you hail it to levels it's unlikely to meet, especially with what's known in the game since the beginning like the old level selections and such, disappointment is unfortunately to arise. It happened with Lost World and while it won't be to the same level, I can easily see it happening, especially with that recent spoiler not floating around.

      You're getting way too cocky.

      Mania is still a great game.

    7. Kuzu

      The only disappointment is mostly the ending, the game itself is mostly fine. You're grasping at straws right now to justify your stance when there's no bearing for it.

      The game isn't even out yet for starters.

      @Joseph Henry

      Getting too cocky over a joke?

      And I'm sure Mania is a good game. Disappointment does not = a bad game. It just means that it failed to meet the expectations that were hyped up for it. And since Mania got hyped to unrealistic proportions, in my personal viewpoint, I see disappointment as an unfortunate inevitability. Something that sucks seeing as I actually do like Taxman and Whitehead and have had Mania pre-ordered for the better part of two or three months.

      @Kuzu the Boloedge Once again, it's a joke. Exaggeration for one at that. One that's once again relatively tame for the standards of this board. So it's all cool to take the piss out of Forces despite that game not being out but when it's taking a jab at Mania (A game that I myself am excited for and have pre-ordered), it's suddenly crossing the line and grasping at straws?

      You told everyone Sonic Team would ruin everything and be the cause of all the franchises problems? ;P

      Haven't read any specifics but going by all the teases I can guess it's connected to Forces somehow, btw. But that's just having the opposite effect on me and now I'm kinda getting hyped at what could potentially be in the game to connect the two. RIP
