  1. Finished Ghosts of Tsushima - fantastic game. I am incredibly happy this is the game that leads out the PS4 exclusive wise, and not TLoU2.

Did Kurosawa mode at all change the atmosphere much?

I haven't tried Kurosawa mode, but considering it makes the whole game black and white, and makes it authentic to Kurosawa's film style, I'd imagine so.

To be honest I'd always prefer the colour version, since the lighting and scenery are just too good looking.  Like they took all the pretty bits from BOTW and made made the whole world out of them XD

Same. The game is just so gorgeous that I'd hate to take the colour from it. It's cool they added the mode though.

I'd call it a nice little bonus that's nice to just have as an option.  I feel like film buffs will try to recreate Seven Samurai and Hidden Fortress scenes with it though😂

So you'd highly recommend the game?

Yeah, it's a great game with fun combat, stealth, exploration, and a lovely art style.

You finished?? I'm just starting it. I first started it a couple of weeks ago and then got distracted by Paper Mario: Origami King. (Big mistake for 2 reasons.)

It was dumb to play the combat tutorial on my first play and come back weeks later, having forgotten everything I previously learned.

The combat isn't too tough to get to grips with anyways, once you get a bit of practice in. Especially at the start since you won't have many of the ghost weapons or stances yet.

I did panic a little at a guy wielding a hammer. Fortunately, I did remember that spear enemies can't be deflected and the hammer guy had the same attack tell that they have.

He still hit me a couple of times. I'm playing on normal difficulty. I usually play action, RPG and adventure games on easy mode but have started trying normal on first playthroughs. I have died like 3 or 4 times so far and I'm only at the beginning of Chapter 1. lol

On a side note, I usually care little for graphical improvements, but I was still impressed by the characters facial expressions during cutscenes.

      Spoiler

Like the one with younger Jin and his Uncle in which his Uncle is handing his fathers sword to him. I could see that the characters were fighting back tears with those slight facial movements.
