  1. Bethesda fucked up Doom 1-3.

Let me repeat that, Bethesda fucked up DOOM (1993), DOOM 2 and DOOM 3.

    Bethesda how do you exist

You only need to log in once for 1 and 2 thankfully.  People who played the original versions haven't complained about gameplay at least.

Yeah far as I'm aware the core gameplay is still solid (although the first game's music isn't the same)

It’s Doom, it shouldn’t require any online authorisation period.

True @Ryannumber1gamer, but at least it's not like how Square-Enix screwed up Chrono Trigger for mobile, PC and PS4

ID fucked up Doom 3 in the first place.

Honestly, the worst part is that they took down the good XBL versions of DOOM and DOOM II that were on the One and replaced them with these. Also, the music has been slowed down for no reason and they both run in Unity, despite the fact that the source code is so public that bedroom coders and almost effortlessly port these games to anything without mucking it up like this. I'll stick to my copy of DOOM 3: BFG Edition (which comes with DOOM 1 and 2) on my PS3, thank you very much. Modern Vintage Gamer puts it into words quite nicely:

      Well, of course they did.

      It’s Bethesda
