  1. Am I the only one here who thinks that the flaws of Sonics Mega Drive game are just most of the time ignored in both fandom and in the incredible classic biased press? Like the Sonic 2s even back then outdated continue system.

And when some newer game does something similar everybody is always bitching about it.

The classics are some of my favorites, but I won't deny that they have some flaws that could be addressed.

Yeah, I can agree with this.

I mean, don't get me wrong, the classics are some really good games that I enjoy playing, but I sometimes feel that their flaws are almost never talked about.

I don't exactly agree. Because nowadays people are starting to blame those games for holding the series back, due to the series' massive use of nostalgia pandering and Green Hill rehashes for recent titles.

That and while they do have flaws (I doubt you'll find very few people who will argue they are perfect), they are rather minuscule compared to the flaws in later games in the series. That's why you also don't see much (heated) debates about those games either, because the general consensus is that the Genesis games are all good games.

*I meant to say "I doubt you'll find many people who will argue [the Genesis games] are perfect"
