Nice! I'm not that much of a fan of the first Rush, but I hope you have fun. :)

So far it seems fine but I already have one complaint: who thought it was a good idea to make both screen to show gameplay and make Sonic placement switch between screens? I have been able to get used to it but it is still weird. Yes, it gives better vertical view but so far that added area is not been neccessary. Well, at least I have not had to use touchscreen or some other gimmick to play the game.

With DS it is also nica that I can play Advance games with it, which was a major reason why I bought it.

The whole "switching between screens" thing was a pretty mind-blowing gimmick at the time that added an intense amount of challenge.  But yeah, it is pretty disorienting and not a feature that's aged particularly well.

Still, Rush is a fine game, in my opinion, and while not a successor to the Genesis games by any means, it's more than enjoyable on its own merits.  If you enjoy Rush, you should pick up Rush Adventure, which is probably one of my favorite Sonic games.  And yeah, the Advance games (or at least the first two) are lots of fun as well!
