I played Sonic Mania again today, and having played S3K recently I noticed that while Super Tails loses the Flicky Army of Death in Mania, they boosted his jump hight to match Super Sonics (in S3K he has his normal jump when Super). Also beat the game in just over an hour and  half with no deaths. Would of been under that but the caterkiller boss in MS Act 1 gave me a horrible pattern and only jumped toward the screen for a minute and a half straight.

Something I didn't know until now is that the Wonder Boy: Dragon's Trap remake on PC contains a rom of the original Master System version. Always low-key regretted not picking this version up on the Wii shop before it closed, so it's neat having legal access to it nowadays.

I am 27 years old today and once again, I don't feel any different BUT I did actually have the rare thought that life may actually be a lot longer than people give it credit for. In a positive manner of course. 
Birthdays aren't as special as they used to be but that feeling you get from well-wishes still never goes away so I'm grateful for all I've gotten.
