  1. I've said it before but I do like how Sonic acts in Lost World. It's not perfect obviously but it's definitely on the right track for how Sonic should be more.

Nothing about Pontac and Graff's writing was good for the Sonic franchise, they just kept dumbing down the story and characters with each passing game. I'm glad that Pontac and Graff's repuation is in ruins, with a bit of luck Sega will never hire them for anything ever again.

I definitely agree. It was nice to see a wider range of emotions from Sonic and not being so obnoxious and joking all the time as well as seeing some flaws of Sonic exposed.

I'm gonna have to strongly disagree with that, but also say that it's not the worst he's ever been.

He's not cool at all there, but he could be much worse.

I'm mixed when it comes to Pontac and Graff's work in LW. I like how the characters actually have emotion again and the story was miles ahead of both Colors and Generations but, then again, those aren't high bars to reach in the slightest. What makes matters worse is that they're the ones who moved the bar that low in the first place. Hell, even in that light RoL's overall characterizations were good.

When you compare it to what we've gotten by them it's fine but when you put it besides something like Black Knight... it's a far cry from anything I'd call good.
