  1. If Ben Schwartz remains the Sonic VA after 2019 I won't mind even though I like Roger as Sonic a lot.

He has a younger voice which makes me feel that it fits more (also seems tje most similar to the japanese voice IMO).

Roger's not even my favorite, but i just want us to atleast get to a solid 10 years with one guy in the games. Japan's had the same guy since 1998 but over here sonic's vocal cords are a revolving door of constant change

Japanese VAs usually only change if the actor dies.

That's not the case in other parts of the world.

I know there'd be an uproar if Mario, Spongebob or the Simpson's voice actor's changed. Don't know why Sega didn't treat the Sonic cast's VAs the same way but oh well.

Roger is a good voice actor but I've never been fond of his potrayal of Sonic. Based on some of the voice clips it sounds like Ben could be a good fit.

Jun'ichi is what I think of when I think of Sonic's voice the same way I think of Charles Martinet for Mario's, for what it's worth. Dude is a champ for sticking with it for this long, and is still the best VA Sonic has had.

I highly doubt SEGA would be able to afford a Hollywood actor game-on-game without significantly eating into their budget

I personally hate it when voice actors are changed for no reason.
