  1. Opinion: Sonic Blast is the least remembered Bad Sonic game.

In the other hand, Sonic Chaos is one of the least remembered good Sonic games.

  2. Apparently yesterday we broke up the record of more users online!

Did you save a screenshot of it?

So 997 "most users online" is a new record?

  3. This Sonic:

    I'm not responsible for Nightmares.

  4. Despite Forces and Mania, Generations is still being a pretty neat game.

Still no regret for choosing this one than Forces which ended cheaper and better. I also have Mania + on my library which still is a masterpiece. I just think it blurred a bit Generations image.

I still have a lot of fun with Generations and I appreciate its tweaks to Unleashed's controls and physics which make 3D platforming the most bearable it's been since the Adventure days

I also think the 3DS version isn't so bad and I enjoy it a lot more than Colors DS (haven't played SLW 3DS)

  5. *Important*

I just realized that everyone in this message board aren't showing any activity in their profile. Don't think it worth creating a topic but felt I need to warn someone.

Tried both logged in and out via private mode on browser as well different browsers.

You really should make a topic about it. Activity not showing in profiles is a big glitch, and the board admins won't be aware of it if it isn't brought up.

  6. Own, that was cute:

    0it44g7qfls31.jpg

It does't coast to spread after all.

  7. Say what you want but once as a Kid, I already thought Nintendo 64 was released in 1964.

Just reminded this and wanted to share. It was when I was getting the very basics of video games. I think I even knew it was a 3D console and it was actually newer than Genesis.

    1. I Have Berry!

      I Have Berry!

I feel most kids/misinformed people would think that it was literally the 64th Nintendo system with the 64th Mario and such, so this is an interesting spin on that thought.

Mario and Sonic are both prepping to go to 1964 anyway.

The Sega Genesis* was made on the 7th day, the church does NOT want people to know this

*also known as the Sega Mega Drive in Europe, named after the European localized Book of Mega Drive

  8. SEGA just said is 20th years of Dreamcast in Europe. Cliche question but what are some of your fav titles?

I can't really think in many but likely Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi and Phantasy Star Online, looking I barely played PSO.

Besides the Sonic games, the only other one I feel major nostalgia for is Ready 2 Rumble.

  9. I know people are using Halloween avatars, but I couldn't resist to try this.

I may back to Tails sometime.

  10. I just found there's people putting other SEGA Genesis games which aren't on Steam as if they were mods for other games.

    Is that legal?

Is that legal? but in a meme.

Nah, but Sega doesn't seem to care, so...

Yeah, I thought the same. I was almost writing a topic about games we love but we can't find on online stores but I got lazy in the process. If you are inspired, I allow you to steal my idea.

    3. Sean

      Sean

Absolutely not; in fact I find it very strange that people bother uploading illegal roms to Steam at all considering it's easier to go to a rom site for them

Well, without pushing much further discussion (Which in fact, I believe is not even permitted here in SSMB). I took Michael Jackson's Moonwalker which is a "mod" for Streets of Rage 2. I guess it falls under Abandonware and consequently Fair Use as well for lots of old games I would like to buy but can't find anywhere. However, between play a "mod" or download a ROM and play on a third-party emulator, I would prefer the second one.

Btw, I still believe things like this should be more incentivized:

Sketch Turner (Comix Zone) on Streets of Rage 2, that was dope. (I own both games, btw).

  11. I was looking some old Sonic Stadium articles and, with all respect for the writer, I laugh a bit hard when I read this:

Hey, don't judge! At first I was excited for Sonic 2006.

  12. I just found out I'm the type of person who can get stressed even listening to chillout music.

  13. Impressed no one made this meme yet:

Try Reddit. It’ll either thrive or flop, but either way, someone will enjoy it.

  16. Hmm. Okay...

I reveal you today Super Mario Sunshine Adventure 2. Available only for Sega Gamecube and Nintendo Dreamcast!

  17. I've feeling very sleepy in these early times of night (7 p.m - 21 p.m.) in the past week. Even sleeping the "traditional" 8 Hours a day and even going a bit further. Any guesses why?

My current sleep time is between something like 9:40 p.m. to 06:20 a.m. I don't feel much sleepy on the morning though.

  18. Almost like a realized dream, my Mash-Up has been uploaded:

  19. Almost forgot to say: Just finished mixing my Mash-Up. Would like to share it but I'm unsure where I can post without receiving a copyright strike.

  20. I should let SSMB tab less time opened and stop accessing here almost every hour. Specially assuming I barely look at the forums and a bit more read statuses and write something.

Btw, this likely will be the last time I access here today, so until tomorrow, have a good night!

  21. I still think it's pretty weird to see two people talking in different languages but understanding themselves. (As seen by their replies as I speak both).

Eg. I just see two persons discussing on the Steam's community with one in Spanish and another in English but in a cohesive talk.

    2. I Have Berry!

      I Have Berry!

This got me thinking: shrews and hummingbirds would make for great Sonic characters. Both boast a whopping 1200 BPM.

  23. Steam new design is pretty cool to be fair!TS4z7Ff.pngrKf2z1b.png

You must be on the beta test to access this. It didn't add all covers (Some like JSR, Mirror's and Sonic CD didn't) and a few other I need to add by myself (Eg. Tomb Raider Anniversary).

I must say the game page is pretty handy, but can't lie seems a direct copy to the GOG.com one. Still then, didn't solve the problem "modern" gamers have which is have thousand of games spread over many accounts.
