  1. There isn't a trailer for this (yet), but when it comes out (most likely very soon) this post will be edited to include it. The first two kart racers were...kart racers all right, but I heard the second one was decent. This sounds like a massive step up, though. The inclusion of voice acting, something that was infamously not in the other two, is such a huge thing...which is actually kinda sad.
  2. Surprised nobody made this topic yet Besides Ms. Pac-Man being fucking dead™ i'm very pleased to see this be a reality. Pac-Man World is such a classic, and to see it be remade for a new generation is a real treat. Pac-Man World Re-PAC launches August 26th of this year, just under two months until the Pac is Back...again.
  3. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1229490/ULTRAKILL/ www.devilmayquake.com Published by New Blood and developed by Arsi "Hakita" Patala, it is currently one of the highest rated games on Steam right now, and just about a few weeks ago the full version of Act II: "IMPERFECT HATRED" came out (with new secrets to soon follow at a later date). With its high-speed movement and brutal action and difficulty, ULTRAKILL has probably become one of my favourite games of all time and I can't honestly recommend it enough to anyone I know. There are many videos out there on Youtube that can teach anyone how to master the game, from weapon guides, enemy strategies, and neat movement techs.
  4. Wishlist on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1361090/Restitched/ Screenshots in spoilers tag (don't wanna make the post too big) I was really disappointed with LittleBigPlanet 3. It wasn't a bad game, but you can tell that the developers weren't given enough to make it polished and a truly worthy follow up to it's older brothers LittleBigPlanet 1 and 2. Despite that, it's a shame to see that a LBP 4 most likely won't ever happen. So imagine my sheer joy waking up today and seeing a trailer for a spiritual successor from a different development team come out and look so good! Restitched is shaping up to be an amazing game, both for newcomers and fans of LittleBigPlanet.
  5. https://www.linkedin.com/in/austin-keys-541b851/ So on Austin Key (who is a Sega employee)’s LinkedIn page, there exists this little tidbit, which likely got leaked by accident. So according to this, Sega is apparently planning to port popular Sonic titles to “new to SEGA PC platforms” to expand the availability of Sonic title to a wider digital audience. Given their recent interest in putting their games on digital platforms thanks to the success of Persona 4’s PC port and what not, I guess this is a bit of a non-surprise, but it’s still somewhat interesting nevertheless.
  6. Hi! It's a holiday weekend here in the U.S., and to celebrate, the Humble Store (a competitor to Steam) is featuring some deep discounts on a variety of Sonic/SEGA PC games. Notable sale items include: Sonic Hits Collection - A bundle of 15 Sonic games, and their DLC's, for only $17! The package includes: Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Sonic CD Sonic 3 and Knuckles Sonic Spinball Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine Sonic 3D Blast Sonic Adventure DX Sonic Adventure 2 Sonic Adventure 2: Battle Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed + Metal Sonic & Outrun DLC Sonic the Hedgehog 4 - Episode 1 Sonic the Hedgehog 4 - Episode 2 Sonic Generations + Casino Night DLC They've also got great deals on other SEGA games, including the Dreamcast Collection (Sega Bass Fishing, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure, and Space Channel 5 Part 2) for just $4.19, and Jet Set Radio for 99 cents! On average, that's about $1 per game - a cheap way to fill in any gaps in your Sonic game library. But if you want to take advantage of these low prices, you'd better act fast- the sale ends in 2 days.
  7. http://www.gog.com/ Was going to post this in the gaming deals topic, but figured it warranted its own. GOG's Insomnia Sale has just started back and there's a chance there'll be a lot of epic discounts to be had. There will be 100 games going on sale with up to 90% off, but the catch is there's going to be limited quantities for each title so you'll have to get in quick. Especially if some of the more popular games end up on sale. There's also going to be chances to get free games at some point during it, and by the looks of things it'll just end up being posted after one of the discounts ends. So worth keeping an eye out for that. A couple of games have already gone and some of them went amazingly fast. Edit: Deux Ex 2: Invisible War is now the current deal for $1.99.
  8. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2039811773/the-girl-and-the-robot Seem like a really interesting game, the Art style really reminds me of Skyward Sword Even though we have four days left to back this, I would really like to see this reach the Wii U stretch goal and I'm gonna say this right now, the concept art is the cutest thing ever So what your opinion on this game?
  9. Crytek-authorised TimeSplitters Rewind in development for PC http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-03-15-crytek-authorised-timesplitters-rewind-in-development-for-pc Could they be testing the waters, perhaps? I was a huge fan of the TimeSplitters games on the GameCube, back in the day. Top notch multiplayer, a really good map editor, a pretty good musical score andfantastic singleplayer levels kept me coming back for more. Sure, part of the appeal was probably the lack of competition from other shooter series', which probably made it a bit of a 'big fish in a small pond', I'll admit to that freely, but I really did enjoy the series immensely. I hope that these games do really well, and that Crytek commissions a proper sequel. Gotta have more o' dat Cortez. TIME TO SPLIT!
  10. Same as the Generations mods topic, Since Sonic 4 Episode 1 is now out on PC and Episode 2 is coming to PC, it's only a while until we can expect some mods for them to pop up as well. So here's the official thread dedicated to mods for Sonic 4 Episode 1/Episode 2, so post em here if you got any, or give ideas or suggestions about mods. Yes CanofEpicSauce, I'm sooooo original.
  11. Edit: Trackmania 2: Stadium is available for pre-order, and you can play the beta if you do so. All the Maniaplanet games are now on Steam, too. Oh, and Stadium looks fucking amazing. If you haven't played Trackmania, you're missing out. Hell, you have no reason not to play it, since Trackmania Nations Forever is FREE. And Trackmania 2 is looking to be even better. Trackmania is all about simple, arcade racing that revolving around getting the best times possible on tracks. And that's only half of it. The deep, intuitive track editor from the original is returning, with improvements, and it's possible to make even more amazing tracks than ever before. Oh, yeah, and did I mention the visuals are jaw-droppingly gorgeous? Additional Videos: Gameplay Just take a look at the map editor vid in the link above - when the guy is finished with the whole thing, the final playthrough of the user-created level looks like something you wouldn't have known was made in a grid-based level editor instead of being modelled by hand or something. Bloody amazing. And there's even a scripting language to allow even more custom content. So far, it's just the Canyon environment, but the developers are gonna release more environments over time 'episodically'. They're also working on ShootMania and QuestMania, an FPS and an RPG with the same design philosophy as Trackmania 2 - arcade-style gameplay with user-designed levels and content. I'm looking forward to the both of these as well.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kOGyM2B4Io&feature=player_embedded http://www.vg247.com/2012/09/06/call-of-juarez-gunslinger-revealed-for-2013-digital-launch-live-action-trailer-hits/ Thankfully, they seem to have returned to the Old West, and haven't tried to 'correct' their recent modern day error. More westerns can only be a good thing.
  13. http://www.thatvideo...t-under-5-days/ Teaser site: http://findmakarov.com/ Looks like we're getting a Modern Warfare 3 reveal next week. I hope it's something special and the campaign is a bit longer. I enjoyed both of the first 2 games's campaigns, but they were just too short. I wonder how the game will turn out with most of the original Infinity War team gone and rumours of Sledgehammer Games and Raven also working on the game.
  14. Well since Sonic Generations is now out on PC it's only a while until we can expect some mods to pop up so here's the official thread dedicated to mods for Sonic Generations, so post em here if you got any, or give ideas or suggestions about mods
  15. http://www.computera...t-card-details/ The 2011 hacks continue. I'm not a PC gamer and I don't have a Steam account, so it doesn't affect me, but I thought I should bring it to the attention of everyone here. I hope no one's credit card details have been taken and misused. I also hope the hackers are found and brought to justice.
  16. With Sonic Generations coming for PC, the potential for modding is incredible. With Sonic Generations, the true creativity of the fan base can be shown. So anyway, what would you expect/like to see when it comes to the mods?
