  1. Well well well, New Nintendo I.P. You are looking very interesting and different! You know, I'm really digging these colorful and spunky games that were showcase at e3, and Splatoon is definitely one of them and is a pleasant surprise to boot. Splatoon is a team-based third person shooter where the objective is more than just shooting the other team, but also literally painting the town red... Or blue, pink -- I DID THAT JOKE ALREADY! I KNOW! MOVING ON! Anyway, everyone takes their own personal squid child mutant thing and shoot the kalamari rings out of each other in plethora of very platform-friendly maps that allow you to get around and take cover in many ways. Want to run and gun, then shoot everything that looks at you funny! Want to break the Solid Snake out yo ass? The use cover, hide in the ink and just use whatever trick you can to get the jump on others! A lot was shown on the game today. And I'm very happy to hear that the game will be online focus. From what I saw, it definitely seems like fun for the whole family, but still very competitive for those looking to flex their gaming muscles! ... Now I hope that we can play as mussels! Not really.. Wouldn't mind some sponges or starfishes though! Anyway! Splatoon looks fast, fun and... is pretty far away from release with a 2015 TBA stamp, but I'm definitely looking forward to more info as it's release draws near! Discuss, yo!
