http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/05/05/portal-pinball-is-teleporting-to-zen-pinball-2/ http://blog.zenstudios.com/?p=5217 Coming to the Zen Pinball 2 platform is, well, Portal! That's right, a pinball Portal game! Pretty cool, right? Take a look yourself. This looks so cool to play, like holy crap! I'm gonna try my best to not fangasm, soooo *ahem*, alright. If you love Portal, than prepare to have an orgasm on May 25th, 2015, in which it will come out on all version of Zen Pinball 2. Unfortunately, there's one platform that might be out of the loop. http://wiiudaily.com/2015/05/portal-zen-pinball-2-table-may-not-come-to-wii-u/ There's no confirmation on it, but there's no clear answer on it coming to Wii U, despite the fact that all of other pinball tables on Zen Pinball 2 were released on the system. It seems strange why the Wii U would be out of the loop though No trailer yet, but a few people have got their hands on it.
Throughout the 20 plus years of Sonic, there has been some pretty cool downloadable content that could be added to the games through different means. Sonic Adventure: New Missions, Chao Black Market, and Holiday Decorations In the past, there were different events for Sonic Adventure that could be downloaded the VMU. While some added challenges such as Time Attacks, unique Item Quests, and even a Chao Black Market, there were also Holiday Events such as the Halloween Party in Twinkle Park, where ads are posted all over Station Square and new decorations appear in Twinkle Park. http://youtu.be/U4a9-OBBrdU Unfortunately, most of these were one-time events, while others were exclusive to specific areas of the world. Also, they were never made available in their rereleases (except for the Chao Black Market). Sonic Adventure 2: Character Themes, Alternate Costumes, and New Kart Race Tracks, Characters, and Vehicles Sonic Adventure 2 also got some DLC such as character themes that change the background and sound clips in the Menus, new content for the Kart Races, and Halloween and Christmas designs for Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Eggman, and Rouge in 2 Player Mode. http://youtu.be/1ELA-I_9_Jk Some of the content was bought back in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. Sonic the Hedgehog 2006: Very Hard Mode, Boss Attack, and Team Attack Amigo There was downloadable content for Sonic 2006, one being a Challenge Mode, where you play the entire game as Tails, Blaze, and Omega. Sonic Unleashed: Country Adventure Packs Starting with Chun-nan, there were DLC Packs that added 3-5 new Day and 2-3 Night Acts to different Countries except for Eggmanland. While a few of the levels were brand new levels, others were “Hard Mode” versions of available levels. Sonic Generations HD: Casino Night Zone DLC This special preorder allows you to play an exclusive pinball minigame in the HD Version of Sonic Generations. Use Classic Sonic’s Spin Dash or Modern Sonic’s Boost to try to rack up as many points as you can. Sonic Lost World: The Nightmare Zone, Yoshi’s Island Zone, and The Legend of Zelda Zone Sonic’s most recent outing had 3 Crossover Levels as DLC: 1 which is a Boss Rush featuring characters from the NiGHTS series, a 2D level based on Yoshi’s Island, and a 3D level based on Hyrule Field and Dodongo’s Cavern from the Legend of Zelda series. The Nightmare Zone was announced to be available in the Deadly Six Bonus Edition of the game, while the other 2 were announced during a Nintendo Direct. How do you feel about the past and recent DLC for Sonic games? Would you like to see more of certain types of DLC in future Sonic games?
