.....why is Sonic racing Metal Sonic in the Casino Night Zone?

STARDUST SPEEDWAY IS A HYBRID OF CASINO NI- *shot*

Yeah, it's probably either the multiplayer, or the only way they could fit in rival battles (if they're present in the 3DS version.)

I'd prefer for this to be the two player mode compared to random Sonic bots # 1 & 2 racing together, at least we have a recurring character present

I think its actually 2 player mode. I mean I hope Knuckles and Blaze will be Rivals in 3DS ver. HD rivals can be characters in Multiplayer tho.

Oh and one more thing. I think I figured out SEGA revealing formula. Now note that its only theory. Spoilered because of spoilers.

Remember when SEGA revealed Metal? It was before Gamescom when we got trailer teasing Death EGG Robo Boss.

Now before TGS SEGA revealed Shadow as Dreamcast Era Rival. Now I think that TGS trailer will tease Perfect Chaos.

Since its last big convention they will probably reveal Silver in October and then tease EGG Dragon in relase trailer that will present remaining stages that werent revealed.

I think they will annouce Speed Highway and Crisis City on TGS. Why? Well It would be nice if they would mix clips presenting some City before Apocalypse and then after Apocalypse. Note that I am not saying that Speed Highway is past Crisis City its just theory.

So where would Classic Eggman fit into all of this? Modern's artwork was released last month and from the previous 360/PS3 trailer it was hinted the next big reveal would be a boss, likely the Egg Mech one from Sonic 2.

I'm worried that we won't see him outside of the mech. =[ Sigh. I want him to at least give chase beforehand or flail his arms around a bit Modern-stylee.

You remember Rooftop Run Trailer? SEGA hinted Rooftop Run and then acted like it was already revealed.

SEGA (I hope) wont relase any screenshots of Big Bosses.

And as much as I would love for Classic EGGMAN to show up I think it wont happen outside of his boss battle. And official Generations site pretty much confirms it with lack of space in character section and lack of classic EGGMAN render in EGGMAN profile so I wouldnt hope for this

We've already seen Robuttnik on the signposts.

The character page on the site is nothing to go by. It's very well possible he isn't there, only because he hasn't been revealed yet, and will be added when he is revealed. We know there are far more characters that can be listed there,

Anyone else think it's possible that we might get an announcement for the 2nd demo at TGS? The first one was announced at Sonic Boom, a good few weeks ahead of it's release and I believe the 2nd one was thought to be released on October 10th based on the findings in the original demo assets. TGS could be the ideal time to announce it...

I really think we're going to get a new trailer at TGS. The next trailer will almost certainly reveal the Death Egg, Shadow, and Planet Wisp.

The Death Egg is a given, since it was at the end of the last trailer.

Shadow was just recently official revealed. Probably to coincide with an upcoming trailer.

Planet Wisp is most likely the next stage reveal since we've got pictures of it. It would also mean that we've got 1 more stage from each era to be revealed.

All these recent pictures were probably meant to coincide with a new trailer, anyway.

They happen to be the stages I'm most curious about too. Oh the waiting game.

Also, we never actually got any footage featuring Metal in the end. I wonder if we will indeed see some sort of Rival/Boss trailer.

I don't think we're gonna see any boss/rival trailer reveal. I mean if i were Sega i'd like to keep something hidden.

I think images or teasers is all we're gonna get. Something like the 2 Sonics trailer but instead of the Death Egg Robo we'll see Shadow throwing a Chaos Spear and then the screen flashes to unveil SG November 1st/4th etc etc.

Are those the plushies from the japanese sonic adventure commecrials?!

EDIT: if no one knows what i'm talking about, there a series of commecrials called "Sonic Adventure" that has a plush version of the gang (Some of them) from SA1 going around the world:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wUQSgZbWz4

If those are the same plushies, wow they have been kept in great shape!
