My Alton Towers - Sonic the Hedgehog Room Experience

Oh man. Did I enjoy this...

So if you don't know, I went to the Sonic the Hedgehog Room at Alton Towers on Thursday. So I thought that I should share my experience.

(NOTE: My camera broke while i was at Alton Towers, so no photos. D:)

First of all, the resort was AMAZING!

The lobby of the hotel was really creative and colorful. I even managed to catch some entertainment in that Pirate Ship on the ground floor. Next, the Room. Before anybody asks, I did CHECK OUT THE CONSOLES! WOOOOAH! ...XD

The room had a lot of beautiful artwork and detail on the walls, ceiling and floor. Except, there were a few things different from the room that Hogfather showed on his tour.

First of all, the room itself was a LOT bigger. It was 2x bigger then the one in the video. Second of all, the toilet seat was normal white, not gold. Last of all, the Knuckles plush that watches you go No.1 or No.2 is replaced with one of those new Classic Eggman plushes.

....Oh? You did not know?

You know the claw machines that are by the Sonic Spinball ride? Well, instead of those Sonic X plushies, they have been replaced with these:

Exciting, no?

But now. Its time for the MOST EXCITING NEWS EVER!!! (for me anyway.)

So when I came out of Sonic Spinball, a guy in a Sonic costume was taking photos with kids and adults. But their were a bunch of other people setting up cameras. These were the same cameras that people use to make movies, TV shows, etc. So I went up to one of these people and asked: "Why are you setting up these sort of cameras for?" And they said "Go take your photo with Sonic and we will tell you the surprise. ;D"

So I went up to Sonic, shook his hand and had my photo took with him while these people were recording me. So then they asked me to sign some paperwork. So I did happily. Then they told me "Make sure that when you go home tonight, set a recording on for the entire new series of Dragons Den *Which I already did because its one of my FAVORITE shows eva* because we are recording footage for one of the new episodes. The point is, your gonna be on TV!"

Yep. Imma gonna be on TV. On Dragons Den. One of my favorite shows ever.

Overall, the Sonic Room at Alton Towers is awesome and If your a Sonic fan, you should go to it.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself... however there is one thing that caught my eye...

My parents finally caved in and are paying for me to go in about 3 weeks time and to stay in the room itself- they booked it ages ago for my graduation gift (they had alot of faith in me ). Anyway I have been to Alton and have riden the ride but I'm really excited about the room

Are you telling me that the room is a different one!? I think that the room number for the one I stayed at was room 312 and I'm quite sure that it you had to go up 2 floors from the lobby in order to get to it?

Did you take any photos/video of the room? Only I'd be VERY interested to see what it looks like now.

Phew... for a moment I was nearly on the phone asking for a quote!

Also the loo seat.... sounds like somebody broke it... .. ... . I sincernly nope nobody stole it... for two reasons.

1: You big meanie.

2: Are you insane... The following arses have been sat on it, T-Bird, Me & Svend... Not in that order....

Edit: The word arses is used to describe our bottoms... not saying that those people are arses.
