So I guess each level is going to be like a floating island connected through a time line where sonic can move freely.

Edit: I see sega is preparing for the news update from tgs(maybe).And apparently we will know all stages of the game before the games releases, I think.

Gotta be honest, I'm disappointed to see the character section looking so tiny, and Metal Sonic being in the both the 3DS and console sections. I was hoping we'd see different rival battle for the two versions. Like, Classic Knuckles and Blaze on 3DS.

The 3ds world map seems to be taking a bit of inspiration from the KH world menu select.(at least to me it does) It just seems so similar. h2_02.png20100825225913!Twilight_Town_KHCOM.png

Seems to be taking inspiration from the console version to me. You get a scene of the zone and a path extending into the distance.

Something I noticed.In the URL for those pictures Green Hill is labeled #1 and Chemical Plant is labeled #2. Meanwhile City Escape is labeled #5 and Seaside Hill is labeled #6. Orange Roofs / Rooftop Run is labeled #8. It's pretty much common sense but that pretty much confirms the level order is.

So apparently, the 2 stories are identical except that in the 3DS version, only Tails shows up to Sonic's party.

Nah, I think it just means the party was planned by Tails. Or at least, that's the translation I got (I used Google Translate, but got a different translation. On a random note, I officially nickname Google Translate "Miles' Translator" dry.png). But who or what is "Chiridokku's"?

Japanese for Chili Dogs. I mean, that's what it sounds like when you say it as it's written, right?
