You know, I can't really say I'm all that disappointed. I mean, I enjoyed Eggman being the final boss in colors and I still think that the final boss in s3&k is the perfect example of what the final boss in a sonic game should be. Its just, I'd be damn to say that I don't find final bosses like perfect chaos or Dark Gaia enjoyable and satisfying to complete.

I don't know if I'm confident enough to make a theory out of it, but I'll just throw it out there anyway: the face looks like Nega-wisp. Or the purple wisps in general (they're even called void wisps, which if you ask me has some relation to time and space). I mean... those things eat stuff. Time-Eater. Could there be a connection here?

Either way, I do hope Eggman is involved somehow. It'd be cool if he somehow was the monster, or at least had control of it. If not, though, it's not a make-or-break deal for me.

Step by step? Too boring. Basically I right clicked the Character page, went to "Page info", noticed the pictures went "slide_1" (Sonic), "slide_2" (Tails), and it skipped 4, and went to five (Metal Sonic.) So curiously I replaced the end number with "4", and poof, Time Eater.

You must be using a different browser then i am, correct? I'm using avant browser an IE based browser therefore i don't have this page info.

But i did figure it out for IE users. Go to View > Privacy Report. Check the urls for something like "contsnts-character/slide_01.png" at the end and manually type in the url. you'll find it then...

but since you guys are probably too lazy.

Mind you none of this stuff is really up yet i'm just posting the links ahead of time. i would suggest bookmarking this post or saving the links for quick access and check back from time to time.

The music in the 3DS version is pretty terrible.

I mean, the cash cow spin-off title Mario & Sonic at the Vancouver Olympics had a better remix of the Sonic Heroes Special Stage theme than the one featured there.

Oh well. At least Mushroom Hill is still looking nice!

Wasn't as good as the Adventures, but I enjoyed it. I might be biased because of my man love for Metal Sonic.

OT: I have no problem with the Final Boss, as long as it's epic, and fun. Like Colors, it was epic and fun, it wouldn't have made a difference to me if it was a Giant Dark Mutated Nega Wisp. If it's fun, it's fun.

It'd be cool to have all the characters talking during the final battle, reminiscent of Sonic Adventure 2's final battle.

Cheers mate. It reminds me of the Nega-Wisp, and with that lighting it does look a bit like it has a moustache as well. XD

EDIT: Oh, so Metal Sonic's just a vs. race in the 3DS version then...
