I find the storyline of Armored Core for Answer works hillariously well as an allegory for the state of the Sonic franchise. Are you going to stay in the cradles as they lazily fly about in the sky till they become uninhabitable, or are you going to abandon the comfort and padding (oh ho!) to allow you to find salvation elsewhere?

I didn't actually bother reading much of the OP, but this franchise is far to reliant on padding the way it is.
