Compare this to the Classic Tropical Resort that was posted. It's the same level.

The level you posted has Flowers you can jump on, sections where you have wall jump which classic sonic cant do, rails to grind on, it has water sections and a hang glider, no rockets to hang on, no ballons and no burning totems. There are only a few similar passages, but that is something the HD Version has as well.

I'm doing this through a headphone jack and record it direct-feed that way. Works suprising well for Nintendo 3DS-games, thanks to the surround option!

Man, looking at all the gameplay that Thigolf uploaded, this game looks like it's going great! Especially the Time Eater boss fight! The game does seem to be coming off impressive... but that still doesn't really sell it for me... I still kind of mean most of the stuff I said before about it but I must say that the Biolizard fight was interesting to see. The remixes are all fantastic! I'd say my personal favorite is Modern Tropical Resort... that's also my favorite level out of the bunch. Thigolf... please... PLEASE upload more! I really want to see other gameplay like Emerald Coast, Modern Radical Highway, Casino Night, and the Silver Boss Fight! Thank you for all of the information.

So I just saw the

Biolizard fight.

My reaction? I'm impressed. No, really. I'm legitimately impressed.

They managed to take a fight that I thought would require changing due to the switch from the third to second dimension, and make it exactly the fucking same. It's literally the exact same fight. That's a whole new level of laziness. Kudos, DIMPS. You're laziness is so extreme that it's impressive.

I'm kind of happy to see people saying positive things about the levels now that we're seeing more. Was I not wrong that the levels would be much better then Emerald Coast several pages back? And I don't know.. I'm kind of liking the fact there isn't 400 things going on at once like the HD version.

That Biolizard battle looks magnificent and the music was always great. I'm really surprised on how they did the boss battles + Time Eater. So much better then what Sonic Team could do.

Next game - Sonic Team with level design and Dimps doing boss battles? What an epic combination!

Yes, because Dimps apparently does boss battles well... (although I wasn't quite impressed with the rival battles.)

Water Palace Modern looks like a good stage. That's because it's almost a complete copy of the original. The rest still look terrible.

The Time Eater is better but that's it. Egg Emperor and Biolizard play exactly like the original, while Big Arm is the same as the original with an added pointless attack and lowered difficulty so it'd fit as a first boss. And then the Rival battles are pretty rubbish.

Wow does Time Eater look better.

It looks a lot better than the console version, if you ask me. You can actually TELL WHERE RINGS ARE. And it doesn't sound like you're getting yelled at about Homing Shots all the time, and you can actually tell when he attacks you or not.

Videos of Dimps copy-pasting level design and music

While I enjoy the Rush gameplay as much as the next guy (who doesn't hate the Rush gameplay :V) and the music remixes are pretty tight, the rest of the game just feels... so half-arsed. I'm sure it'll be fun, but a far cry from incredible to be sure.

Dern it, I'm so torn on this game.

Uh, there isn't one. Only the Classic era has three stages. The Dreamcast and Modern era only have two stages each. The secondary version of Unleashed had the same level cuts.

There is no third modern era stage, just Water Palace and Tropical Resort

Man, imagine if they had a Rush Adventure stage added to the Modern Era... and now that they have overdone it with Sonic Heroes... it'd be safe to imagine what it would be like if we got an Advance stage in the Dreamcast era... yeah....
