Fair review. Still kinda confused on their hate of Colors to this day.

Random side note: LMAO @ Sonic's reaction to Charmy. Between his actions and his voice, I'm liking Sonic a lot more than I used to. It's like he's now aware of the ridiculous story he's been in all these years, and he's just like "really?"

Design 7.7? Design? Are they talking about the level designs? Sorry if this question sounds a little dumb im really tired.

Well considering the fact that gametrailers gave Shadow the hedgehog around an 8, and Sonic Colors a 6.7, I had no Idea what to expect from them.

"Upcoming DLC?!"As in stages? Is that what i heard from gametrailers?around 2:50.

Lol at him when he was saying "frustrating objectives" Boost to the musical note during the vector mission. Facepalm.

Also When i heard them say the classic sonic gameplay was where it all mattered and was what the game was all about i kinda felt a little iffy towards the reviewer.

After their Sonic Colors review (6/10 IIRC?) I'm surprised by Gametrailers' review score. Not gonna watch it if there's cutscene spoilers though so hopefully it was well written. Good to see the 8's again.

The reviewer was pretty fair, if you ask me. Didn't even rag on Sonic's "dumb friends," and I think the complaints were fair enough.

I don't think it should be taken as an actual hint-- I think he just said "Upcoming DLC" as a joke because that seems to be the popular thing to do with developers these days.

Or he could be talking about that Casino Night Zone DLC.

Though I am annoyed about how he showed cheap deaths of the Sky Sanctuary platforming section and then immediately switched backed to Modern Chemical Plant's 3D as if it was better >>.

You don't know the half of it. That jump he showed as demonstration of bad level design was entirely player stupidity. Simply put, you're not supposed to go that way; he jumped off the path. The path you're supposed to go is so obvious I cringed at that moment.

Damn their video review is full of spoilers. Game Trailers must love those cutscenes. x_x

Yea, but I'll probably forget everything I saw once I'm done with Uncharted 3.

Besides, the game isn't to heavy on story anyways lol.

Can't wait to pick up Generations later today!

....who the hell wrote this garbage? A retro purist who lives under a rock and doesn't know jack about the franchise these days?

Not to mention that apparently he rated graphics and sound a 7, with gameplay a 4 and durability a 3. That should at least give the game a 6-6.5 on that scale, if not 5.5.

And did he really compare the Generations physics for classic Sonic to Sonic's physics in

SONIC 4?!

This is one of the most unprofessional biased trash I've read in a long time.....even Jim Sterling gave Sonic Generations an 8. This is just pure bull****. -.-

Shaking_head.gif

There. You got your ****storm post. Happy now?

Oh and that Gameinformer review as a load of crap too, albeit not as bad as the Gamereactor Norway review. So much nostalgic bias. That reviewer sounds like a maroon, apparently he can't see a friggin' pitfall sign when it's literally pointed out in front of him.

Now that I've gotten to play the game myself, I can't even get mad at biased, terrible reviews. They're just...so silly. Were we playing the same game?

Ah well. I think Sega should keep on doing what theyre doing :)

Am I the only one that couldn't stop laughing when the Gametrailers review complained about cheap deaths then proceeded to stupidly jump in the massive pit almost as if it was on purpose?

They do this all the time.

They do this all the time.

I noticed that with Colours. After many critics complained about cheap deaths in Colours, I no longer take those complaints seriously. There's certain criticisms about Colours that I'll accept, but to say it had cheap deaths is a downright lie. Hence why at this point I don't believe any reviewers that say the same thing about Generations.

Awesome news! Thanks Voyant. Fuck Yeah 9,5/10!

The review is great too. I read a little even though Classic Sonic controls better in Generations is lulz. Come one let's be realistic. xD
