Soniman's Art Zone - Act 0

Greetings, just thought id share some of my art with you fine folks.

First, this piece.

I drew this when the 30 minute preview of Generations surfaced and saw the boss battle between Classic Sonic and Metal Sonic, I though it looked pretty cool, so I wanted to emulate it with this drawing, I think it came out pretty well.

Next is....

I had an I idea of drawing a comic featuring Sonic and I would the cover to give off a "movie poster" vibe, I think I should have drew more of Eggman's body but overall, not bad in my opinon.

I also have the first page of the comic done more or less, just have to finish the fine details on Eggman's base and command center interior.

Cubot's current voice chip function is "surfer dude" by the way.

Finally, a simple collage of Sonic poses and expressions, nothing to special

I also drew the roster of Playstation All Stars.....well the roster with the interesting designs.

I started an alternate version with all the characters I left out on this one, but that may take awhile due to being boring to draw.

Lots of good stuff here. I like your attention to detail! Some things like proportions could use work, and you should probably start your characters off as basic shapes a little more here and there, but I like the general style you have in your drawings.

Agreed with Inferno, you have plenty of work to do on anatomy and consistency but your attention to detail and clear effort put in to clean lines and illustrations with multiple characters and scenery to look at leaves a striking impression.  Keep up the hard work and you'll go far.

He who like Ed Edd and Eddy? Well if you do here you go!

 

 

Sort of took the style of Ed Edd and Eddy and tried to fuse it with my own, I kind of wanted to remain somewhat faithgful (which is why the eyes are just black and white and not super animu like.

This time I tried looking at some cartoons and tried to imitate the diffrent art styles.

Read "The Promise" and I like how it mainly focused on Toph and her students, so I wanted to draw them all together.

Also, I found at that using the Pokemon fusions tool to make quick sketches is a fun way to practice. So here's 4 pages worth of it!

 

 

I think Kangastung (Kangaskhan + Likitung) is probably the best one since it's like the only one that can pass for a legitimate Pokemon.

Now for some original character shizz....

 

 

This is Pell, she's kind of rude and snarky, but deep down she does care fore her teammates. She has a living tattoo ability where she can sprout several appendages from herself that can take on a ton of shapes, which can give her immense range, mobility, and very precise type of attack styles.

 

 

 

You got the small kid, who's the leader, Pel, and then Jim, the big guy (whom you saw earlier). They are all members of a government sponsored team who are trained to take character of the more dangerous creatures (called Curlans) that pop out every now and then, as opposed to the lower threat level Curlans that they don't bother with, those are left for the Free-Lancers, speaking of the Free-Lancers here they are dressed in snazzy garb (because I don't know).
