The Last of Us (PS3 & PS4)

Eh, I doubt it. There's still a few big games waiting to come out on it unless every one of them have been moved into the PS4. They're probably going to push the PS3 one more year and if anything I expect Sony to be the last one to jump to the next gen. Microsoft seem like the more likely party to make the switch next year if anyone.

There's Beyond and Puppeteer, both of which could very well arrive during summer/September and that's about it.

All of their studios (Santa Monica, Guerrilla, Evolution, ND's other team, Media Molecule, Sucker Punch, etc. etc.) have been busy developing and hiring for big console games that we don't know about. Given their usual period between announcements and release dates tends to be longer than 6 months and E3 takes place in June, those new games would go to 2014 - meaning they pretty much have to be PS4 games (or at least offer a PS4 version).

So I'm expecting next gen games shown at E3 and PS4 being March '14 at the latest. Fall '13 is feasible, even though they might have to limit themselves to one or two regions due to supply issues.

That should be cool, so long as it's a worldwide CE, when it comes to Sony and CE's one region always loses out.

Remind me, what have we (EU) been missing out recently?

Looks pretty cool but I still want Naughty Dog to make a Collectors Edition (Ellie and Joel statue, PLEASE).

Looking at the EU and NA versions.

 

I think I'd rather have the Survival Edition over them all. I really like the sound of the artbook. Considering the size of the book I don't think the price is too bad... hmmmm to import or not to import.

 

Then again... I kinda like EU's pack/wrap around thing... argh! Choices!

Looks like this game is going to have more zombie smashing than I thought and I am kinda disappointed by that but hey it still looks awesome. Those clicking sounds.. jeez.. I'm gonna have nightmares after playing this game.

Said zombie smashing was really creepy IMO. The fact that they don't immediately rush towards you as soon as light is shined on to them makes the scene much more scary.

Yeah Clickers are blind and that makes me think. How loud you have to be to alarm them? Do you need to fire a gun or just simple running will make them know where are you.

 

I also really would like to see footage that includes Joel's "detective" mode.

At least it's not been delayed for some bullshit reason (like Rayman Legends), and at least it was still months away from release when they put the date back. Still it's a bit annoying as I am really looking forward to this game. Hopefully they can use the extra time to make it even better.
