Well I'll be damned, guess I'll cross that off the list that stuff isn't really my cup of tea.

It`s ecchi. It`s apparently actually good and funny despite having ecchi but it`s ecchi.

To be fair, I heard the Manga was pretty entertaining.

I'm so mad and confused right now.

I finally got around to watching Jojo but I've watched it in the wrong order and apparently watched Stardust Crusaders part 3 first when it was just listed as Jojo's bizarre adventure??

Someone tell me which one I should be watching and in what order because this is too confusing.

The 2012-2013 series of 26 episodes entitled "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" covers Part 1 (Phantom Blood) and Part 2 (Battle Tendency).  The 2014 series of 24 episodes entitled "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders" covers the first half of Part 3; the 2015 series of 24 episodes entitled "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders - Battle in Egypt" covers the second half of Part 3.  If you watch episode 1 and it's about two children in England, it's Part 1 (and will lead into Part 2).  If you watch episode 1 and it's about a guy in prison in Japan, it's Part 3.  If you watch episode 1 and it's about some buff guys in Egypt, it's the second half of Part 3.  Crunchyroll lists the order from bottom to top (ignoring the Re-Edited episodes).

So, why don’t people like No Game No Life excluding Shiro panty shots? I just finished it and it’s a perfectly good anime that I enjoyed the shit out of.

the manga

ANYWAYS PRISON SCHOOL

it's by the gantz guy I think?

someone kept posting it on tumblr with these images where the characters'd all look like they were filmed with a fisheye lens and so I decided to go read it

and it's hilarious

it's also absurd

it's also filthy

I can see someone calling it porn or herntai or whatever but maaaaaaaaaaaaan unless you're into some weird watersports shit it's mostly just filthy

it's facinating in its filth, even, you just constantly go "there's no way they'll actually have this guy shit himself in the middle of the class tor ecord sounds they can later use to escape their prison"

"oh nor only did they did that they then do it worse and have him known as a shitter forever"

"which then pays off much much later in a bizarre way"

I'll be watching the anime just to laugh at how much shit gets censored because tyhere's now whas

no way it'll survive intact

EDI: ALSO THE NEW GATCHAMAN'S OUUT

AND IT SGREAT

the new musics are grand

hajime for  some reason has a huge bust now, is it because she has someone in her heart

as in

are herr tiits a symbol

animmation's grtand as usual

but jesis christ this opening

Hajime was always well off in the chest area, I don't think Katze has had any effect in that regard. :P

Yeah that's one thing I hate about Jojo.

They /always/ focus on Part 3 when Part 1 and Part 2 are great. In fact Part 2 is much superior in every way so go watch those and the fight between the Joestars and Dio will have much more weight to it.

Its about building up to that point. People always have to rush to Part 3 like its the best part or something. :/

Nah, they've visibly increased her bust this time. Not much, but enough to the point it looks ridiculous sometimes :P

Got these in my list to watch when they are dubbed. Dragon Ball Super, Gangsta, God Eater, Prison School. Might be awhile but oh well. I got other stuff to watch in the mean time.

Gangsta and Prison School are getting broadcast dubs, so expect those in around a month.

So, why don’t people like No Game No Life excluding Shiro panty shots? I just finished it and it’s a perfectly good anime that I enjoyed the shit out of.

For me:

1) An interesting world that was barely tapped into

2) Sora and Shiro being boring protagonists. Not because they always win (which I admittedly didn't really care for much), but they're just not interesting characters and happened to fall within the pandering-stereotype trap kind of personalities.

3) Bad utilization of the other characters (example: Steph being mostly comedy-by-cruelty fodder)

4) Some of the games didn't really have much impact to them (aside from Materialization Shiratori. Best part of the show hands down)

I can see why some people liked it, I just happened to not be one of those people.

Crow is right, part 1 of Stardust Crusaders is much better than the second, enjoying it so far I don't really care about following it in order now I've seen the ending lol.

Also watched Gatchaman Crowds, it was pretty awesome too.

I finished all three arcs addapted into anime at this point in time for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and honestly, I like Stardust Crusaders better than the other two :U

The first one focused too much on the serious parts of the story, while the second one tried too hard to be silly and over the top, SC made it so we can have a nice balance of both, and as Crow said, it's finale has been built up since the beginning of Phantom Blood.

Right now IMO the weakest arc is Battle Tendency tho', one main problem: They focus too much on Joseph, who in all honesty, is a dick, yes he changes later down the road, but that's still around 70% of the arc having to take Joseph being annoying and an outright asshole sometimes. That's not something good to focus almost all the screentime. Yes, the show is called Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, but both Phantom Blood and Stardust Crusaders had a lot o good interactions between characters, while here we had like, one or two episodes to develop a side character, the rest is Joseph taking all the screentime.
And the final ''battle'' of this arc was probably the biggest asspulls of all time, it wasn't a battle, it wasn't a moment for Joseph or anyone to shine for that matter, it was literally Joseph being so goddamn lucky and a shitload of improbable things happening at the same time that somehow made him win.

But again, that's just me, I'm all in for character interaction, so obviously the arc where the main focus is a team of badasses working together would be my favorite, and DIO is such a memetic and enjoyable villain you can't help but feel sad when it's all over.

And besides, the final battle is even better when you watch everything from start because it feels so good to see DIO not only beaten in ways Jonathan couldn't dream of doing so, but because you can clearly see Dio nervous and scared for the first time ever since he became a vampire, and it's such a great feeling to see that bastard who caused so much misery and pain finally get the fate he had coming for him but managed to avoid for almost a century.

I guess pretty much all of your enjoyment of battle Tendancy hinges on whether or not you like Joseph. TBH I find him immensely entertaining so I loved almost all of BT, he's a refreshing contrast to typical manga heroes of the time in that he's pretty much a total little shit instead of a noble hero.

The setting is also pretty interesting isn't it? I cannot think of any manga quite like the WW2/Supernatural/just plain weird setting, a lot of sweet body horror in there too urgh.

also re: the finale

isn't it kinda cool that that someone who planned everything in all of his other conflicts and kept one step ahead at all times whenever he fought was faced with an opponent that he couldn't manipulate or out scheme, and ultimately had to do the one thing he never did- leave it to chance?

IDK. It's still an asspull but I'm glad it went the way it did because I love Joseph lol. Honestly, I think the Araki of today would have killed him. Jojo heroes aren't surviving like they used to.

Battle Tendency is my favorite part to be honest. Joseph is my favorite Jojo, and I love the non-serious tone, though it still managed to make me feel during the few more serious parts. Part 3, while I still like it, has too many meh and/or lackluster fights (which is a weakness when you have the "stand user of the week" formula), and Jotaro didn't start grow on me until roughly halfway through the 2nd season. I found him rather bland beforehand, though not as bland as Jonathan. My tier list so far is Part 2>Part 3>Part 1. Part 4 is pending a rank cause I've started reading that and it's good so far, I really like Joskue.

I was distraught when

Avdol was fucking smashed into another dimension at like mach speed, that was a legit shock for me at how quick they just curbstomped him lmao, same with Iggi when Iced cut him in half like for fuck sake why would you even let your guard down like that? literally killing off 3 awesome characters in one arc was just too much to process, I suppose it was to make Dio even more of an asshole, because they succeeded lol.

I really love the show, even if I had the ending spoiled due to poor listing on Kissanime ugh.

I do love Stardust Crusaders as a whole but compared to Battle Tendency its not as thought out, asspulls aside. Like I feel that nearly every single fight up until Petshop was just ORAORAORAORAORA punch out on the bad guy of the week. Compared to Joseph's smart antics its kind of boring. I mean sure there are some clever fights in the series but it feels like its mostly just Stands duking it out. It does get become formulaic by Part 5 but Part 3 was more clever than that part so I'll give it that. Its also a shame that Hamon was pretty useless in Stardust Crusaders too so yeah. I guess Joseph made him run out of creative uses for it.

I honestly can't for Steel Ball Run. Mostly on how different its stands work and...

I can see why you'd like Joseph in BT, he does shine sometimes, however It is probably my own fault, as I also watched SC first, and there I found Joseph much more enjoyable as a character, so It was probably hard for me to relate these two.

And Jotaro isn't the best character, yes, he's pretty bland at the beginning, but SC has four other characters for him to bounce off and give us some pretty nice interactions, so when you realize how much Stand of the Week the plot gets, you don't mind since the main focus during most of the episodes is the interactions and how the characters will work together to defeat the enemy stand, plus usually having two characters dealing with the stand and interacting together, making for some good combinations and developments.

I was distraught when

Well, in the anime, their deaths are a bit different.

Iggy instead of leaving his guard down is kicked nonstop by Vanilla Ice for forcing him to attack a sand statue of Dio, then used his last breaths to help Polnareff, while Avdol saw Cream coming for them and had a split second to react, but if he dodged, Polnareff and Iggy would've died instead of him, so he decided to save their lives and die in the process.

putting forth another appeal to please stop being anime-only plebeians and read the manga

meanwhile, trailer for the new gundam is out.

the Barbatos is looking a bit weird, idea seems to be it's from a previous war and they'll keep rebuilding it with enemy pieces, which eh.

Other than that it's giving Gundam 00 and 8th MS Team vibes, which is good I suppose. I actually like how everyone's eyes are completely outlined, that's a neat touch that differentiates it.

Heh, I watched a few eps of Gundam Unicorn a while back. It was entertaining, but not really my cuppa tea so I never bothered watching the rest. I liked the music though!

Oh that's a good note, music in that trailer seems to be Sawano's.

Now that I think about it, it did sound like his style. I liked the acoustic guitar touch in the trailer music.

SC is no doubt is entertaining as the other parts. Its just like you said about the part. My point is kind of me wanting the other 2 parts to be more well known because you get to see this massive build up from Dio being street scum to being this near vampire deity (the actual one being Kars :P) and all these characters standing up to him. I think this near series conflict really makes Jojo stand from the rest of the other manga and anime out there. So if anything all the parts are great in their own way and we need to celebrate this series for what's its worth. Too goddamn amazing. :D

That's funny since I've been watching the original series Gundam cause I didn't know where to start from a newcomer to the series. I do like it, most on how they handle the conflict between Amuro and Char but I think its pacing isn't as good. And I do love old anime but this one is kind of slow. Its a bit off topic but oh well.
