Biggest FUUUUUUU moment in a videogame?

Oh and here's a few from both super mario galaxies.

1. Bouldergeist. He's normally not that hard, but when a daredevil comet rolls around things change drastically. Due to the fact the a daredevil comet leaves you with just one HP means you have to stay on your toes. And the fact that those rocks he shoots at you are a bit hard to dodge doest help. And shit gets reals during the second phase when he gets giant rock hands. Do you know how many lives I lost trying to kill this things on a daredevil comet.

2. Grandmaster Galaxy. Possibly the hardest galaxy in the game, but it's made even harder by, you guessed it, a daredevil comet.

That boss on daredevil is pretty much the reason I gave up on 100%-ing Galaxy 1.

Oh god, agreed on both so much. Beating Bouldergeist on Daredevil was so freaking satisfying. Took FOREVER. Of course, it still didn't take as long as Grandmaster. Man oh man, I'm never going to play that level again if I have a say in things.

Skyward Sword, when you initially realize that even the simplest enemies are harder to beat than past incarnations, mainly because of motion-based swordplay.

You blaze through Faron Woods with pure luck, and thus Skyview Temple was a breeze...

Then you fight Ghirahim. First two rounds, holy freaking hell.

Sonic 4 iPad is completely this. Nevermind that letting go of the D-Pad on any device drives Sonic to the ground with twenty-bamillion pounds of force, the imaginary touch pad on the screen is for the most part unresponsive. Everything from Casino Street Act 2 and onward is just one huge battle with the controls making simple platforming segments almost impossible.

Also, in ANY Sonic game, collecting a bunch of rings and then losing them because chopper decided to be a dick is largely FUUUUUUU inducing.

ringslost.png

i hate you ^

Most definitely this.

Let's see what else.

E.G.G. Station Zone. The first few bosses, save for the Lost Labyrinth and maybe Mad Gear ones, are actually really easy. But I wasted like 15-20 lives on that fucker. I can't even imagine getting past it without taking any damage what so ever. I actually got really close, then he used that cheap finishing move to destroy the floor. I'm just glad I was in my room so my mom didn't hear all the swearing. What's worse, I didn't do well enough on the previous bosses so I couldn't go Super Sonic on him.

What else. Not really much else I can think of ATM, though I must say, having a truck randomly blow up in your face in MW3 is quite annoying.

edit: Actually, I thought of one thing, but I'm not sure if it really applies. When I first fought the lightning boss for Secret Rings, I t took me over an hour, possibly even two, in order to kill it. Of course, I went back and played it recently, and now that I have better skills, it's much easier. I forgot how important it was to level up in the game.

I just completed the Thieves Guild side-missions in Skyrim, allowing me to finally unlock the very last achievement in the game for restoring the Thieves Guild to its former glory.

...except because I sold off all the pieces of my Thieves Guild armor about sixty hours earlier, the final quest is unwinnable, and I have to start a new character to get that last achievement.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFiddlesticks.

Ok so this happened to me yesterday while playing Arkham City. I was fighting Mr.Freeze, when suddenly a glitch occurred where I couldn't move. What's worse is that I was in a corner. Guess what happens next? Freeze finds me and shoots me with his ice gun until I eventually die.

Fighting Golbez in the Dwarf's Castle in FFIV. And this takes place right after you fight Calcobrena!

And to make things worse, his first target to attack is almost always Rydia who can pretty much heal/revive Kain, Rosa, and Yang. And then he'll kill Cecil.

WTF Squeenix?!

So I'm playing the final mission of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. I've gotten rid of (most) of the Su-35s flying around DC, either by actually shooting them down or by watching in horror as they kamikaze into the destroyer sitting in the Potomac. How in the hell a blue-water destroyer got that far up the Potomac I'll never know, but not the point.

Anyway, once you shoot down the Su-35s, then come the Tu-160 bombers carrying cruise missiles. They have escorts. You have to shoot them down before they get past the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Did I mention that now bombers can use flares in Ace Combat, which they spam even in Pilot difficulty? Well, they do. And it's a pain in the ass, because guns are useless without enhanced MG.

So I've shot down all but the last bomber, which, since I was distracted by one of its escorts, got about halfway to the bridge. I mash the throttle to get this sucker shot down, and when I finally fire the missile that'll kill it...

Too late. The missile shoots down the plane EXACTLY as it reaches the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Now I have to shoot down the bombers. All. Over. Again.

Playing Saints Row 3 and Pierce keeps getting trigger happy with the tank lazers and blows up that super high tech pc you're supposed to be protecting... Damn it, Pierce!

Wizpig on Diddy Kong Racing, and not even the second race, the first one. It took me 12 years to figure out that you go faster if you don't hold the accelerator over zippers. Grr

When ever you'd get a Game Over screen in Super Mario Sunshine and it would start honking the horns as the screen would fade away. That was horrible I used to cry when I was little.

One battery charge can last like 10-15 hours on a DS Lite for example (or even more), so it's not impossible at all.

I had one FUUUU moment involving a game but it still made me go FFFFFF~!

I was playing Haunting Ground right? I finally beat the first chaser and now I meet the second chaser which is a stoic homicidal maid or so I thought. Well the second time a chase with her happens I decided to fight her off with the dog and I just so happened to have metal boots on which boosts Fiona's only move, a kick. I was confident that I could beat her but I was dead wrong. Fiona ended up going into panic mode and she fell into the stairs face first leading to her death and I get treated to a offscreen death with the maid having an orgasmic laughing spree. My dad must had thought I was watching a porno or something which made go FFFFFFFF~! And it turns out the maid could had been stopped by running past a mirror which leading her screaming her head off which my mom wondered what that sound was which made me go FFFFFF again.

I had to stop playing the game for a while since I was pissed off with it. D:

And I think we have a winner. But how the hell do you manage to get to the 5th gym one one battery charge?

By playing it way too many times :U

And then you actually get the hang of the controls, and

beat his second form easily. That was a great moment in that game for me.

But this is a fuuuuuuuuuu- thread, so:
