Longest time you spent on a stage?

Shadow's White Acropolis; I spent 21 minutes on that stage. I was embarrsing because I thought you only had to break the searchlights so I went up to each one and HA'd them, but only to realize that I had to get in this var and shoot them down with the gun. There were times were my car lik slipped off the path, so that was a bad run.

Classic Planet Wisp from Generations; 13 minutes because for one I was trying to figure out that puzzle in the end and two, There were times were I completely went back by accident.

Silver's Dusty desert I spent 10 minutes on both normal and hard modes.

I spent 18 minutes on that Nighttime version of Rooftop run.

Eggmanland on 360/PS3. I think I've spent over 90 minutes on it the first playthrough and haven't played it since.

I distinctly remember spending about 41 minutes on Eggmanland in HD Unleashed the very first time I played it. Chalk it up to very frequent deaths :/

I also distinctly remember spending about 17 minutes clearing Sonic's Sky Deck act in Sonic Adventure the very first time I played it on Dreamcast.

Probably almost 10 minutes in Casino Night zone due to compulsive gambling addiction

...And maybe an extra two minutes in Sandopolis ACT 2 because of sand chutes confusing me when I was young.

Worst one that always springs to mind is Team Dark's Final Fortress. The last checkpoint is a good 5-6 minutes before the end of the stage (or at least if there is one near the end, it's a good 5-6 minutes since the one before the first big explodey switch).

Does my nut right in. 5-6 minutes is a LONG time to replay in a game as fast paced and on-your-toes as Sonic, especially if you die many times on the SAME BIT GODDAMNIT FUCK YOU EGG HAMMER SPAMMING.

Eggmanland probably took me an hour first time, and I enjoyed every gloriously epic minute of it. Mmmmmmm.

For Sonic 2 and Sonic 3&K, I would spend so long searching for goalposts and Giant Rings that I would get time overs consistently. However, Sandopolis zone was a mess of a level. The place was too long as is, and I would spend at least 4 minutes in there, so I didn't even bother searching for the Giant Rings there.

I think out of the 3D games, I've spent 10 minutes in Big's Ice level when I was a kid, since I never knew where to find Froggy.

Edit: Oh Briaah reminded me, I have to give a solid reminder to Casino Night for keeping me occupied for 7 minutes before I charge to the goal.

About 30-40 minutes in Eggmanland. 30-40 glorious masochistic minutes. Sega put me through pure hell with that stage, as a final level should be. The only bad part is that the jump in difficulty was so sharp compared to the other stages.

SA1, Ice cap with big. I never knew I had to smash the ice with the boulder... I ended up doing it by accident. Must have been there for a good half hour.

Eggman Land in the HD version of Unleashed. A good half hour to 45 minutes was spent with me running through there.

You don't even need to use the boulder, you can just use Big's weight to smash the ice...

I think it's the only time I've ever caught myself screaming "END! EEEEEND! END ALREADY! WHY WON'T YOU END!?" at the TV screen.

You know that "!" that appears above Knuckles head when you're really close? Not in the Dreamcast version. Makes the levels an even bigger pain in the ass.

I took about 40 minutes in Eggmanland on my first playthrough. Now I can S rank it! People say they hate that stage, you know why it's one of the best stages in Unleashed? NO WEREHOG BATTLE MUSIC. Fuck I can't stand that music xD
