If the CG trailer is anything to go by, I'd settle for checking.

It would be especially sweet if there was a gruesome animation sequence when said action is taken. Just to make cleaning the ice that much more satisfying. Knuckles is going to lay some Lumber, stay out of that Mans way!

As long as they have that sport where you scrub the ice with the broom sticks to make a weird tea-pot shapped object land in a designated area, then i'll be a very happy man.

That event is called Curling and it IS in the game. You can see Silver doing it on the newest Trailer :3 Hope that helps.
