It's a good game in its own right. Nothing wrong with that.

did I say anything negative?

an "um" doesn't really mean anything by itself.

This game is easy and repetitive as hell. There's a cathartic factor in being able to beat up shitloads of enemies effortlessly, but there's little noticeable difference between missions and I'm pretty sure enemies in this game only come in two obvious types: normal enemies, and big enemies. The framerate completely blows, too. At no point in the game does it remain consistent for more than five seconds. I can't even call it a game that runs at 30FPS. Thankfully I've gotten used to this game looking like a god damn slide show all the time.

I like the style of art and character designs a lot which is why I picked up this game, and the music's not bad either. There is also a shitload of unlockables which I'm sure would be the main draw for completionists. The game is actually fun in a mindless sort of way, one of those games that you use to kill some time by just pummeling a bunch of nameless mooks. Just make sure that you're buying this game for reasons other than gameplay. There are most definitely other, better brawlers out there that demand far more brainpower out of you.

Kat's the best girl by the way, I fucking love tomboys and using her legs to beat the shit out of enemies in battles feels pretty damn satisfying.

Here's a tip for anybody playing: turn off the voices. Trust me, you'll grow to really fucking hate them in battles.

So, is this the Senran Kagura General or what?

Yesterday during one of the best fucking streams I've ever seen they revealed 3 new games.

Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson for the 3DS

- Scheduled for release on August 7th

- Looks much better than the previous 3DS games

- Tag-Team and Co-op mode

- 2 Playable dudes including Ikaruga's brother, Murasame

- 2 new girls named Karuga and Naraku

Dekamori Senran Kagura for the Vita

- Scheduled for release on March 20th

- Officialy categorized has "Hyper Big-Breasted Cooking-Rhythm Game"

- It's obviously a cooking/rhythm game where you strip

- The game has all characters from Senran Kagura Burst, but the characters from Shinovi Versus will be added as DLC

- A full-version with all characters will be released later

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus for multiple Sony consoles

- Sequel to the Vita game, Shinovi Versus

- The platforms have already been decided, but can't be revealed (Most likely Vita/PS3)

I love how the 3DS game is the only one that has moderate fanservice compared to the Sony games.

I'd understand if the game was all cutesy and moe and shit, but it's not. If the guy paid attention to the character's backstories and plot (Yes, there IS a plot), it's not just objectification.

And just because the character designs are that, why are males allowed to be objectificated? Look at Link or Marth in SSB4. They didn't just make them HD. They made them pretty boys and hot for the girl audience.

:U

Anyways, if they wanted to whine about how the industry is being damaged, they should have done it about all the fucking porn games that came out in the PS2 era.

Games like this don't normally leave Japan, where things like this are considered acceptable.

Game is really fun, I don't care for the fanservice much though as I find 3D anime girls off-putting (I can't think of a single reasonable person who would find this game's boob physics attractive, it says a lot when most anime have less distracting boob physics than this). The girls in general are cute and the art style was a major draw to the game for me, but I wouldn't have minded if there wasn't so much focus on exposing them.

I'm looking forward to the sequel assuming there'll be more to it to justify dropping another $30 for it. I played a lot of the game but I didn't even touch the Hebijo side after I decided I was done with Hanzou.

This threadbump reminded me that someone in the statuses posted the boxart for the sequel's upcoming European release. Forgot who it was though, but eh.

To paraphrase the aforementioned person: "This will look odd when you're taking this [game] to the checkout aisle."

lol no one but online retailers would have that shit on shelves.

So you're basically saying no (Western) store retailer would stock this game on their shelves.

Would you put "Ninja scroll drowning in massive breasts" in the same section as Pokemon X and Y?

I was paraphrasing your reply, not questioning it :U

Let's hope Nintendo's on the ball with sending these ones out to GAME on time then... otherwise I can't even begin to imagine how awkward it would be for the people who have to keep going into the store every couple of days to ask the staff whether they have the 3D posters of the busty anime girls in yet

A man ashamed of his waifus shouldn't have the right to call them so.

The box art will definitely turn some heads in stores, I guarantee it.
