Who did Mii? Was it you too? Man, Mii is so goofy.

S0L said on the last page that his voice work for male Avatar was used for the male Mii, too.

I thought it would have been cool if there was a contest on SSMB to see who would have the best voices...

Be free for SUMO too! :D

Wait, to pass Expert Mode Carrier Zone ring race, you need to do stuff like that. Gosh.

No, he's just being a prick and showing off to the internet.

Impressive, I like that guy's videos.

If there's some challenges I hate it's ghost battles and drifting.

Ghost battles I always start on C-class.

The A.I is too good for me :<

Hey S0L, can you confirm if Sumo or SEGA approved that commercial? I'm not sure if it's official :P

I can already tell that is an english person speaking in portuguese, so I guessing it's official. If so, that's awesome :)

Dss is my inspiration to become better at everything he gives me a goal to surpass and it gives me something to work towards since I wanna be a speed runner too and I just have to ask why the harsh words towards him?

Talking about commercials, have anyone here in the USA seen a second commercial for Transformed? is not the Danica Patrick one, it's completely different. I only got to see the last part though.

Has anyone else seen it?

Wait, so I just got the update and my god, a lot of things have been updated.

Some collision stuff have been fixed and why the do missions...seem...easier? Like I was 120 at the start of playing today and now, I'm like 143.

And all the stuff I did were Hard/Expert. O.O

LMAO! You don't need to do that at all.

All what I did which is the same thing I did in all the expert ring races was start by drifting, then once I hit stage 1 release so I got to max speed. Then go into drift again to the direction of the curve that the rings where on, so I was drifing into the bend. Just before I got level 2 drift I'd use my boost, this allows you to extend the drift to level 3 but it pushes you further away from the curve you're turning into. This enables you to get a level 3 drift boost.

And thats all I did, just drift into each turn and you'll get a boost power up which allows you to extend the level 3.

Now at one point you'll need to learn how to change direction and maintain the drift. To do that you have to release the dift button change the direction you want to go in and then hold drift again, but you must be quick.

The only time I ever used a risk boost for ring race was on panzer dragoon, and thats because theres one section where you have to fly under a bridge and it's faster to do a roll to avoid the supports instead of banking.

I didn't do any of that when I completed it 2 hours ago. I just did 1 drift, 1 risk boost. Finished it with like 1-2 seconds remaining

Yeah you can do it like that. Carrier Zone is one of the more easier ring races by far. But you certainly don't need to worry about risk boosts on any of them.

Although... I have bit a bit of a problem on time trials. I've completed all of them (normal), with the exception of 2, the classic stages, Casino Park, and Death Egg hanger.

I can beat both of the hard ghosts. But I cannot for the life of my beat either the expert ones. Only thing is... I don't see what else I can do.

The biggest problem is casino park. I've tried as metal sonic with his genesis mod (max speed and max boost), but found I was getting killed on the turns due to the poor handling. So then I tried as Sonic, every single mod. I thought that because the expert uses Sonic then I would be able to at least keep up with him. But I can't.

The questionable area is after the first long bend when you drive onto the casino table (the S bend type area), even though I'm just coming out of a level 3 drift boost the expert ghost absolutely rockets ahead of me and I can't catch him for the rest of the course.

On one occasion I deliberately went slower and figured he was using his boost at that point. So I used mine to catch him, however on the very last turn he absolutely rockets around it and I don't see any sign that he's using a drift boost.

Anyone got any suggestions? Like racer/mod to use?

I will say though that Classic Samba was an extremely hard time trial, the way to beat it is to do one lap, then just as you're crossing the finish line use your boost then imediately drift. You may need to release the acceleration to turn sharper then imediately hit the gas again, if done correctly you'll over take the ghost, so long as you then do exactly what the ghost would do, you should win by a second.

So wait, uploading a video of your own great performances = showing off now? I thought that stuff was normal with speedrunning being a common thing in our community.

Yeah, he's showing off his skills isn't he?

If that's how you meant it, than yeah. My reaction was made within the context of the previous page.
