Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed...!

I referred to it as SEGA/SUMO. I'm aware that Sega are calling the shots.

.But what do you mean by "supporting"? Outside of releasing an addition two characters (that no one asked for) on ONE platform, I'd say that their support of this game has been damnright appalling. Rockstar, Yukes, 2K, Netherrealm, Autumn Games (etc etc)  all support their games well. Support for this game has been literally non-existent.

Yeah I mean it's not like they've released several patches for multiple versions of the game over the course of a year, delivered several free characters to the same high standards of the original game. Created several additional versions of ASRT for specialist PC's/graphics cards/interfaces etc....

Constant support on forums when it comes to matters with the community, interviews with fansites, support at events like Summer of Sonic.

And they wouldn't dream of making a mobile version of the game... like for say an Apple or Android device. And there wouldn't be something 'on the way' which we don't yet know about.

Oh... wait..

A SEGA person most likely way down on the totem pole, who would have just given it a bit of a skimming.

But like I said earlier, SEGA rejected him for All-Stars 1, they likely wouldn't have changed their mind for Transformed.

Edit: This was all aimed at Tenko's post, not Hogfather.

Hey, at least someone arrived here exposing the truthof the facts: just that gives him a kudos, especially since this days, developers don't tend to do that.

It was nice for you, SoL, and i thank you for that.

Can I have the source for that for my character goings on info. I haven't been keeping up well. Only started popping in here when this DLC was brought up. Thanks :)

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I would seriously laugh my butt off if this thing made it in Transformed somehow as DLC.

Come on Sega. Let Sumo do it!

Wait...isn't the Hornet already in the game? Last time I checked, it serves as the car-mode for AGES.

You still can do research before asking, you know: Google is your friend (well, at least for research).

What's more weird is the things that you've missed poking around in there... I can think of at least one megaton you have actually missed. Wow.

Doge confirmed.

Good thing you're here to manage our expectations, S0L. Seven new characters was a little absurd lol. But it's nice to know that something is coming.

Thank you for all your support on this game. I still play it to this day.

Last time I checked, releasing the game on other platforms isn't "support", it's "milking".

Then I suggest you reevaluate your definition of "milking." Most people would use that term to refer to something tacky, like releasing locked add-on packs you have to pay for throughout the year, or pumping out sequels that change very little in short periods of time.

Was it milking when Dark Souls got put on PC? Or when Spelunky was put on Vita? No.

I knew it was too good to be true. I mean, this is the team that thought it was a good idea to do 5 exclusive characters on one platform and shaft the rest.

I guess for the most part it was wishful thinking that Sumo/SEGA might actually do something right.

It'll be interesting to see what "something" is exactly. Probably more PC exclusives or something.

lol

Hah, well that was fun while it lasted, I've been dying to post those names somewhere for a while now.

There's at least one more bit of information. The one I'm thinking of is really obvious, and probably the most fleshed out of all of them. I'd be interested to see if anyone can find it :P

It's not even DLC. It also turns into the Tomcat and a Dreamcast Controller.

Last Time I checked... I posted this.

Yeah I mean it's not like they've released several patches for multiple versions of the game over the course of a year,

That isn't milking, thats supporting. Or if this is in reply to that different versions of the game which support different graphics cards/pcs. Do you even unerstand what this means? Do you even get what this consists of?

Milking it would be just to release the game so it's compatible, these versions are released to take full advantage of the features the systems and graphics cards have to offer... that isn't milking, thats supporting.

Are you only acting like this because of the whole Banjo thing? Only I really don't get how someone can say with a serious face that Sumo havn't supported this game when they clearly have.

I know this almost certainly isn't the case, but I really hope this isn't the thing Steve was alluding to when he said something was coming.

Happy birthday to you!

Happy birthday to you!

Happy birthday to you!

Happy birthday to you!

Happy birthday dear..

ASRT!

ASRT is now officially 1 year old. Lets celebrate by recalling our favourite ASRT moments.

My favourite ASRT moment is when you pick AGES in Panzar dragoon, save his All star-move for the final lap... you are now chasing dragons with an F-14 fighter plane!

And of course, Golden Axe, when you overtake that one player, the music hits you, you see him eat your dust, and hear the lamentations of his women.

I have had fun with this game, never did manage to unlock Ages though(but if we get Dlc I would sure love to give it another go, I do stink at racing games though :( )

Good wishes and good luck to sumo

It's a pretty great racing game I must say. Still amazes me how Sumo managed to put so much stuff, and so much stuff HAPPENING in screen without sacrificing the speed. Everything is rich in detail and color too, it's the most beautiful racing game, no contest. I played today not so long ago, and I had a lot of fun :)
