To people who have the game now: the Samba de Amigo tracks have somehow Samba de Janeiro and/or Vamos a Carnaval in them?

My hype for this game was at an absoloute all time low when I saw the debut trailer. I've played Diddy Kong racing, and coincidentally Mario Kart various and was set in my ways that the experience that they provided could not be emulated. I was impressed with the first game but it had never really occured to me that anything better could pop out so suddenly without some kind of set back.

I've been proven totally and utterly wrong, and it's the best feeling I've had involving Sonic in a long time, I'd like to thank you S0L and a few select others for really pulling through on this one, blasting water over what was a pretty awkward period (Sonic 4 *Cough*).

From what I've seen, the music deserves its' own soundtrack just verbatum thanks to the tunes composed with Richard Jacques. But the rest of the tracks are equally as cool!

I shot myself in the foot by asking for this on my birthday (Dec 9) but I think it'll be worth the wait. Not to mention, those Meccano sets look mighty fine and when I saw them in Toys R Us for the first time I nearly tore down a whole display of barbies because of how ready my body wasn't.

TL;DR: HYPEHYPEHYPEHYPEHYPEHYPE

Where'd you find the rip?

Been dying for one..

I don't know If I'm allowed to comment, but I would suggest running your eyes across the Sonic Retro topic for more information. Calls cost 1.50 a minute plus your standard operator rate.

So, that rip is pretty nice. I have a single problem with it though. All the music seems to be in two parts and it's absolutely filled with ambient noise. If that's not your thing, I'm working on chop jobs for songs with two parts so that they flow into each other and it makes the full song. The process is pretty fast and the order is 1-2-1-2-1 but fade out. I have Splash Wave done already and you can grab it at http://www.mediafire...r8q7qijf5vkkicf I should have the Golden Axe one up in a few minutes as well.

EDIT: You can now grab Vamas A Carnaval at http://www.mediafire.com/?qfhpba6uj0cb608 and The Wilderness at http://www.mediafire.com/?feodxy4iwawv9sd! Go nuts.

I think the Shadow theme thing is the music for Death Egg Hanger Woun. It was last time too. Shadow's actual theme is I am All of Me mixed with Live and Learn. It's awesome!

As an FYI, Cosmic Wall actually is the stage theme for the Death Egg level, and it is more touched up than remixed. It isn't exactly the same, but one of the least altered songs in the game. Casino Park has a similar case of this.

Playing this game right now! Its so fast and frenetic, I really love the pace while playing with the highest difficulty. And the framerate does not dissapoint this time! (Yet haha) Great Job so far Sumo!

First thanks for all the kind words. Glad you're enjoying the music, I think Richard really knocked it not just out of the park, but off the face of the planet!

However... I'd like to request that if you ever want hope of a properly mastered soundtrack being released, you stop ripping and sharing the soundtrack. For a start it's definitely not cricket to rip it and pass it around, but you're very likely to wake up some legal bears somewhere too.

In the meantime I'm working to convince SEGA that we should get a soundtrack release done - one that does the music justice with proper mixes, mastering and maybe even some bonus tracks tongue.png

I think ... All people want to hear new music from the world of Sonic's.

Sorry if I have something in the way. (Honto-ni gomenasai) I did it for the fans of Sonic's.

I also want to say, the soundtracks of 1-2 minutes. It's full or not?

I hope it goes well. I'll definitely pick a copy up if it does go through.

So yeah, like the man said, no one post any download links of any of the music here on Sonic Stadium, or you'll probably get a swift kick in the ass (strike).

Thanks guys!

I gotta say, I checked out a rip and it was awful. Not to say that the game's music itself isn't great, but a rip does not do the soundtrack justice. It's just bits and pieces of audio with the occasional music playing for a minute or two. No real start to songs, and no real ends. I agree, nobody should download the rips, simply because an official soundtrack will be so much better. The raw data is just a mess with no real "soundtrack" to be found.

Actually, I arranged all of the tracks so they are coherent and all that, I just can't really post a download link though, seeing as that would get me a strike. I will however post a link to youtube of one of my arranges that someone was kind enough to post. If asked though, I'll remove the link ASAP.
