I thought the treasure hunting was the easiest part of the game, i always get all A's with knuckles and rouge first. though rouges final level is cool but annoying.

I think the problem is that most of the other stages are pretty much straight lines, the stuff they do in Green Hill is very unorthodox compared to the rest of the game so that's probably why it's weird/nuts.

My memory is pretty hazy on the stage though, because it's probably been about five years since I've played it. Need to dust off the Dreamcast.

It's not SEGA doing it, it's Microsoft. In fact most of the leaks in the last few years have been due to Microsoft's services rather than SEGA's.

Still, the fact that they've constantly been posting and pulling the page just screams that Sega obviously has such a port underway. I wonder what's taking them so long. The franchise's 21st anniversay could had been a great time to announce the port, considering that SA2 was originally released on that day and it was the game's 11th anniversary (it doesn't help that the page was originally posted around that time).
