Someone posted it in the statuses earlier, but without a source as per usual...

Whatever it is, I hope it's comes to the Wii U. It's so suited to Okami.

Okami HD for Wii U or another sequel for Wii U, please.

Basically, in case the developers haven't yet got the hint - Wii U.

Really hoping it has nothing to do with Okamiden, that game should just be buried and forgotten. It's probably just another port of the first game.

I didn't expect a new game and I'm glad they aren't making one, I don't have much faith in Capcom's sequels and revivals as of late especially when the original developers aren't involved.

inb4 Japan only mobile phone port of Okamiden.

I played a demo of the DS one and this doesn't seem out of question. Would probably work out.

I'd love to see a Wii U port though.

So it's not a game and, even if it was, we wouldn't get to play it anyway.

DAMN YOU CAPCOM FOR DESTROYING MY DREAMS OF AN OKAMI GAME ON WII U

It does beg the question though... if it's not a game, then what in the name of Sakuya is it? huh.png

Did anyone ever hear what this was?  All I seem to be able to find is 'there will be an announcement next week' reports, but no mention of what was reported.

Not mugs, a few pieces of paper, a pen und a purse.

I still don't get why they even tease things like these. >__>

I don't have confidence in Capcom making a decent sequel (Okamiden showed that they didn't really give a shit about maintaining the spirit of the original, in any case) so I'm honestly not too bothered by this.

But isn't that exactly what Okamiden did? Uphold the spirit of the original so much that it was just an inferior clone? :P

Even considering it an inferior clone is stretching it.

Was I supposed to like any of the characters that accompany Chibi on his journey?

Was I supposed to like an battle engine that doesn't come close to being good?

Was I supposed to enjoy having to draw the bomb symbol over and over for 15 minutes hoping the stupid game would read it?

Was I supposed to like any of the sub stories?

Was there supposed to be a Whale constalation even though there's no fucking whale in the Chinese Zodiac?

Was I supposed to enjoy any of those fetchquests?

Was I supposed to grieve over the most obnoxious character in the game dying?

Okamiden is probably one of the worst examples of capitalizing on someone's beautiful work of art for a quick buck. It astounds me that Okami fans actually defend this game.

I never want to see Capcom shit out another "sequel" again.

lmao solkia <3

Agreed entirely. It's a terrible game in every facet imaginable. I beat it once, and I won't bother again. It was made by people who didn't understand shit what made the first game so great.

So... I take it that Okamiden is highly not recommended? 'Cause I was looking at some gameplay footage of it a few days ago and I thought it looked alright.
