Sonic Concept Art

...

Recommended Posts

I wonder why they would have called it that? That does not look like a robot version of Sonic at all. huh.png

That's actually the reason why this idea was scrapped.

If you've seen the actually gameplay pictures, You can see that it's regular old Metal Sonic...Regardless of the fact he's about 3 times Sonic's size.

Also, Some more concept art of Metal Sonic's later design in X-treme.

It's cool I suppose, But what the fuck happened to Metal Sonic? He went from the Mach 3 to this thing?

Some concept art of the character "Tiara Boobowski". She was going to be Sonic's love interest in Sonic X-Treme, and was going to be a playable character along Sonic, Tails & Knuckles. But since the game was scrapped, she never appeared in a Sonic game after the cancellation of the game.

And While The gameplay we've seen for the game might have been Mediocre, or in some people's eyes just flat out bad, I was always interested in the concepts and Idea's for this game.

I'm A sucker for Cities like this that looked deprived of any hope and have a resemblance to Robotropolis zone.

Imagine if this became the permanent design of Metal Sonic. I would rage.

The last one was supposed to be a new and improved version of Metal Sonic called "Metal Sonic Mach 3"

Hm, this looks remarkably similar to the E-2000/E-3000 badniks from Sonic Heroes...

I keep looking at Tiara and all I'm seeing is a cross dressing Sonic, even more so that classic Amy.

This picture is so relaxing and at the same time so intense and rewarding, I can't explain, it's just perfect. I love Sonic CD. Look at it and hear this:

Always mildly boggled me how some have interpreted her to be mermaid-like when the thing at the end of her "tail" isn't a fin, it's a bow.

I have half a mind to club you with a blunt object. She's a mermaid ghost and we will speak no more of the matter.

...

I've never seen this model before though. Where does Sega have this gem stashed away? any idea?

Let's not forget these two. These are concept art zones that were made by The Taxman for his 2011 remake of Sonic CD, but ended up scrapping.

I Like the Sonic 3-D rendered model, but I'm not too keen on the Silver one, he looks pretty metallic for a furry animal tongue.png

Concept art of Angel Island Zone. Slightly hard to see what's going on, but it shows the collapsing bridges, breakable boulders and scene where the player runs through the hollow tree.

s3-cnz-concept.jpg

Carnival Night. Concepts for the cannon(haha), speed boosters, the hovering platforms and that barber pole thingy you run on.

The Sonic 3 guys made their art funny when they could.

Yeah, Silver literally looks.. silver. xD

He's Rockman Chrome.
