Well today's the day. the release of Mario & Sonic At The London 2012 Olympic Games Virtual Card Album.

So far it seems every mario and/or sonic fans are up to the 'Card Chase' (that's what i call it).

for those who don't know about any of this, SEGA announced on Nintendo Direct that there will be a virtual card album coming to EU 3ds owners later in the month.

once downloaded from the Eshop and loaded up, you get a starter pack which contains 5 cards (at random)

there are over 70 cards to collect which involves characters (each with a voice line), screenshots or 3 gold artwork cards (which can be bought from the play coins card store for 10 coins each).

each card comes with a rarity. for example, say if you one card and it has 2 stars. that's a common card

here is one of my rarity charts (or what so ever)

1 star = normal (not rare)

2 stars = common (tiny bit rare)

3 stars = uncommon (bit rare)

4 stars = i got nothing on this (rare)

5 stars = ULTIMATE PRIZE (ultra rare with gold on it)

collect all of the cards before september 9th and you'll get a special bonus card as a thanks for finding them all.

so how many got the application? if so, how many cards have you got so far?

Oh my god, my first card was a Sonic one (of him fencing) and it has a HORRENDOUS voice clip.

SONICK SPEAD!!! Ugh.
