• and apparently all the non-imaginator skylanders are $0.50 at toys r us  right now (I only got Knightmare,enigma and shortcut because I liked their designs)

Shigenori Soejima & P-STUDIO Art Unit ART WORKS 2010-2017 just arrived.

I loooooooove it. You can see Soejima has improved so much over the years, and the illustrations just look gorgeous. Plus it fixes a lot of problems the first volume had: it covers more games (I feel the first one came out too soon), and while it still has pages without illustrations, they are much better covered. I honestly have no complaints with this artbook lol

One thing that I've noticed though, is that it's missing some illustrations from Golden and Arena (such as https://imgur.com/a/vxvtu ) Not sure why they weren't included, but it's such a shame  .

There's no word on an English release yet , but the first one (released by Udon) is currently sold out, so I guess it sold very well and they wouldn't want to miss this one? Who knows.

Super Mario Series 9 Blindbag Figure (Bowser Jr.)

Funny story about Mario and Jr.: I originally tried for the latter with a random blindbag purchase by just feeling around for spikes. Turns out, my feeling skills are very much lacking, resulting in my like fifth Mario figure from this series. Afterwards, I found the codes for each figure online and my Sis and I searched the entire box for Bowser Jr. However, we still didn't find him. It turns out that I had misread the method by which you use the codes to determine the figure inside each bag and I didn't realize this until we were back in the hotel room. I actually went RIGHT BACK DOWN to the dealer's hall to claim my Bowz Child. This is the the life of a Bowser fan and Bowser Jr. main in Smash.

Anyway, wrapping up the OMGcon stuff, I also got some stuff signed, courtesy of Bill Rogers! (Who you might know as the voice of Brock in the Pokemon anime from 2006 onward, the voice of Lucario in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and voice of the King of Hyrule in Breath of the Wild! Great guy! Even commented on the Pokemon shirt I was wearing!

Got this Friday a Studio Series Voyager Class Starscream figure:

The jet mode looks good... Obviously from certain angles, since from a sideview, this F-22 Raptor is anything but sleek due to the kibble that all TF jets seem to always struggle with. Do keep in mind though that I only say this as someone who has been spolied by the designs of Shouji Kawamori. XP

Robot mode does a good job resembling Starscream as he appears in the 2007 movie. It has a lot of sculpted detail, but I also feel that out of the box it feels a bit unfinished, so I got to work on painting some bits, giving an oil wash to panel lines (only the robot bits) and dry-brushing to make all those details pop up more:

Ordered this Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge Ayane statue on Monday.

First statue I bought in probably about a decade. Then I bought that Diamond Select Sonic statue today after work. So two in one week after a long hiatus. I guess I went a little overboard, especially with how pricey the Ayane one was.

Been in a Lego kick lately (hey, I had my own Lego verse when I was a kid) focusing on Lego Friends and TLM2 sets. While in the shops today I got the Batman/Metal Beard battle set to complete the cast I was missing. I also got a random Aggretsuko Funko Pop because she represents a lot to me.

Lara Croft funko. Been fan of the series for about 3 years, and even owning a good amount of games on Steam, I've felling bad for not owning a figure. Now I do.

Similarly, been a fan of Above & Beyond (UK Trance group) for about 3 years, and while following their new releases, I never bought an album of them. Well, a statement which will stay on the past!
