Nice to see them all reunified as one big, happy family again.

 

Definitely liking the use of background, too!

 

If your markers running out is a problem, I'd consider looking into making use of colored pencils. They're not as messy as markers, and you don't have to worry about them running out of ink at some point.

 

As for a coloring pointer: when coloring something, always try to keep all strokes going in the same direction. It makes the color come out looking very smooth, generally.
