Partially true. But the fact that Dash is easier to pick up and play than Jump is contributes to it's popularity. I can imagine that if both games were free, Dash would still be more popular because of that, and would also generate more revenue for SEGA because the micro-transactions are much more enticing.

I loved Sonic Jump, though the lack of updates made me put it away for a long while. I eventually did get all characters. In fact, I basically had nothing more to do. I ran out of missions and I got all the characters in the game so far. I don't think I got all upgrades, but I got quite a few. If updates started again I'd love it, especially because I can actually PLAY Sonic Jump. I can't play Sonic Dash it won't run on my phone.

It's an entirely new game. Kinda seems like Sonic Jump 1.5 rather than a full sequel though.

Yeaaaah, this is definitely the Dash S version of Jump. This is what I feared the most. 

 

Since it's not using LINE this time to connect your friends with, it's using Facebook. I wonder if this game will function well without Facebook...

I think Boom versions of the characters would have been better. It is the year that Boom launches after all....

It does seem that it uses a game server for the score that you earned (can go offline too. I think it just collects your data) and has the chao system aswell. Other than that, it looks fun when you got nothing to do for the rest of the day
