S0L hinted that the GP5 tracks would have different music, but that video just plays Casino Park's music which was in the first game... At least it was my favourite of the choices available, I guess...

I hope Egg Hangar plays Never Let It Go in this case.

From TSSZ (WARNING: Heavy Bullshit Spoilers!)

"BULLETIN: TSSZ & @sonicparadise's @Ashleythedragon has confirmed the presence of a Team Fortress character in ASR Transformed. More soon."

Even though the PC version isn't out? Oh really?

But hey: Sonic TF2 hat for the PC Release anyone?

Take with a pinch of salt, t'is TSSZ after all.

So.... Sonic Paradise found it and TSSZ are claiming the story?

Also, it's the third guest. Duh!

It's more I imagine they'd be PC exclusive if they were the third guest, and the PC version isn't out for a bit,

Hmm, perhaps assets exist for the PC exclusive in the console versions? Or it's bulldoody. In any case, even without proof I assumed the third guest would be PC and a Valve character. Renegade Ops did the same thing.

Well, they've posted this:

Again, we're confirming w/ @sonicparadise that data in ASR Transformed points to a Team Fortress character in-game. We've seen it; it's real

Seems you was right Barry.

It's because Ashthedragon is now a TSSZ's reporter too.

Sweet.

Steve said over and over that it wasn't so much a console as it was a platform. And given that the 360 and Wii U have exclusives, and they attempted to give the PS3 an exclusive and failed (Sackboy) it would make sense that they also had a PC exclusive in the works. And since Valve already has a great relationship with SEGA (Spiral Knights DLC, Renegade Ops DLC, TOtal War DLC in Team Fortress) it makes sense than they would agree on something. Only question was which Valve character? And Team Fortress 2 would fit great in ASR's world.

Its's because Ashthedragon is now a TSSZ's reporter too.

Shame. Why would somebody agree to write for TSSZ? :P

A TF2 character? I really dislike those characters, but oh well, at least it is PC exclusive.

Do we know who the last unrevealed character is? If it isn't Alex Kidd I will be really mad. It will be the PSASBR scandal all over again, but this time around, Sega/Sumo could easily get Alex unlike Crash Bandicoot.

Team Fortress 2 was initially my first guess, but then I sort of just assumed it'd be a Spiral Knight due to some of the hints dropped by S0L and Jango.

I'm glad I was wrong. I wish Heavy (it better be Heavy) could come to the console versions via DLC in the future.

I'm still leaning towards the SEGAGAGA hero Taro Sega as the final character. Out of ALL the stickers images we've seen, Taro is the only one to represent an IP that has not appeared in an All-Stars game. Plus, he represents the "Unlocked every Character in the game" achievement. Not to mention, the Race of Ages track itself very much has a SEGAGAGA vibe. Not to say it is a SEGAGAGA track, but Taro and a multi-IP vehicle would fit perfectly there.

For those who already bought the game, I've got one question! :)

I loved and enjoyed the first game, but the Framerate was choppy here and there...So, how about the sequel? Did they manage to do a better job in terms of Framerate in Transformed?

I do not care if there are "clone" characters, and the track selection is pretty fine. But the Framerate is my main concern.

Waitwaitwait - HOW U KNO DIS!?! O.O

Edit: Seriously though, I'm seriously hoping that someone confirms or denies Taro soon so I can get back to my life (which will be taken away from me again once the game arrives at my doorstep). XP

Right! Because you work for SEGA! Or did you rip the games files and find something out?

Honestly, the people who act coy and say they know insider knowledge but say nothing are probably the most annoying people on the forums. I f***ing hate it. :P
