Who made Knuckles's shoes? Lego?

That's a good point actually, where did Knuckles get his shoes from if he's been on an island all his life, did Eggman bribe him with them? Did he just make them while really bored guarding the emerald from a bunch of random stuff? At least Sonic runs around and stuff and interacts with people and places but Knuckles was alone for much of his life.

When Sonic Adventure was first announced, a bunch of pictures with individual character and a quote showed up online and I got really excited about Tails, the mention of somebody waiting for him made me think we would see one of his parents or a family member.

Everyone has their own version of how Miles was abandoned (from Archie to AoStH) so it would've been cool to get in-game insight to what really happened.

And spoiler alert - no one was waiting for him

I'm curious as to where the Tornado came from. I heard a few people speculate that Sonic stole the biplane from Eggman or recieved it as a gift from someone he saved/for saving South Island. I liked it's origin in one of the manga's in which it belonged to his father. I think it'd be interesting if it was revealed to be a form of inheritance from Sonic's family, said family having taught him to fly it in the first place. Of course it's not as if it's likely that the Tornado's origin will ever be revealed.

Maybe the Tornado was given to Sonic by the inhabitants of the South Island for defeating Robotnik.

Wasn't it Tails' plane? It was like a reference to how smart he is, being able to fly it at such a young age and what not. Wouldn't be surprised if he built it himself

In Sonic X it was Sonics, Tails was caught painting it blue (and that's how they became friends.. Sonic liked the colour)

The first was Sonic's plane. It was like that in Adventure and I think in the manual for some classic game.

Even the very first time i saw that cutscene, i thought she should have finished that sentence with "gay". Think about it, shes talking about how badly Sonic wanted to get away from Amy. It would make such an ungodly amount of sense.

Jamaica maybe? Maybe I am remembering wrong, but wasn't Jamaica's flag Green, Yellow, and Red? And it would explain the dreadlocks...

I believe in the Archie comics he was drawn (very poorly) with normal fingered hands but I remember in Sonic Adventure certain other Echidnas were gloveless and had fingerless spiked fists IIRC...

Similarly... what's with Blaze's four-headed ponytail? What is it supposed to be?

I assumed he has normal hands and just wears mitten type gloves. I think he's been shown in the comics with boxing glove hands though, not that that means anything of course.....

The spikes are bones. You see them as bones when Knuckles gets electrocuted in S3&K.

Boxing gloves are just gloves for them. For echidnas, they're not advanced.

Just because boxing gloves aren't primitive for human civilization doesn't mean the same is true for a different civilization.
