It wasn't for a christmas party. It was for TV people who had to work on Christmas day. Shows would use some of their extra time during shooting to create short bits of content that were then compiled onto a VHS. This tape was then distributed amongst all the christmas day workers.

And yeah, the christmas tapes were pretty risque. Or at times, very risque.
