New episode time! And I know pretty much nothing about it, just that the current antagonist would not be the best choice for a wedding MC and that Twi wasn't prepared for this... And I feel I'm not so prepared either... Will my body be able to handle the pony!?

Probably, cause I'll be working at that time. ._.

Oh well, here we will probably see Twi trying to find a McGuffin with a suspiciously similar name to Cadence's cutie mark, actually, I'll be disappointed if it actually turns out to be a McGuffin... I mean, like it or not Cadence is a princess pony and they kind of have big responsibilities and powers to go with it. (we can argue about immortality though, I guess she could be as long as she keeps executing her duties... kind of like... Can't remember the name but it was something of The Twelve Kingdoms... Man that's actually an interesting headcanon)

Oh well, I hope we get to see some Shining Armor too, that guy is such an... Odd thing, with all the (military) power he holds and the attitude of a surfer dude (not to mention the faces he does and how he acts towards Twilight). A complaint I heard a lot about the wedding is that we were supposed to care about characters that were nothing but toys and their only purpose was to get married, this might be their only chance (in a long time) to expand upon that, wonder if I'll even get to say something about them in my character post...

So over all it was alright I guess, but it felt pretty weak at times. Definitely awesome parts, but I guess in the end I was just expecting more out of King Somber. All he did was kinda growl, finally got his chance, and then imploded or some shit. I was really hoping he'd turn out to be yet another awesome villain like Discord or something.

That aside, like I said, there were awesome bits. I loved the last reprise the most out of all the songs, seeing Twilight do dark magic was pretty crazy, and seeing Spike get a spot on the window was amazing, XD. Ready for the next episodes though, the previews of some of them were a giant cock tease

As predicted I only managed to see like... 1/4th of the episode, but it was great... At least in the comedic side, especially PInkie, she made me LOL for reals.

(She's a better changeling than the changelings themselves XD)

I really... Didn't get to see a lot of the more serious part though.

Episode 6 synopsis.

Omigahd omigahd omigahd omigahd! That premiere kicked ass! Holy crap. I'm reluctant to say it beat our freakin Discord but hot damn, I think it just might have.

Derpy did not appear. You may say it's because of the Crystal Empire but that sure as hell did not stop Berry Punch.

The story line was epic. The songs were awesome. The story was awesome. The animation was glorious. The jokes were hilarious. The villain was weak but we have Discord coming up so I don't mind. Also the fandom's going to make Sombre such a more in-depth character anyway. I expect some good fun stuff concerning him. Not too mention, that I'm betting he's still around and we'll see more of him either in the show or in the comic.

I am so excited that they're setting up an overarching story. Whether or not Twi becomes an alicorn, I am loving how they're hinting at it. Hopefully since it's more important, they'll hint at more than they did the Gala. That book has me hopeful.

The characters were good. Many felt that the season 2 finale was too Twi centered and this definitely was a lot more rounded. Every character got a time to shine even if most of the focus went to Twi, Shining, and Spike.

Mat I just say, as a Spike fan, this made be fucking ecstatic. I've been wanting for Spike to become more of major player concerning the adventure episodes and with season 2 giving him some more screen time, I was hopeful. But damn, I wasn't expecting him to be so important in the end.

This episode freaking played with me in terms of Spike's role. i was hoping for Spike to be a little helpful. The beginning dashed my hopes. Then when he went with Twi in to the castle, I got exited Then he stayed at the top of the stair and I was sad. And then he saved Twi which made me happy. the he brought up the possibility of the stairs being endless which gave Twi the idea to fuck gravity and that made me even more happy. Then Twi got trapped and the heart fell out and for the whole commercial break, i was like "SPIKE SPIKE SPIKE GO SPIKE SPIKE SPIKE SPIKE GO SPIKE!". Then Twi teleported and I was like " " then she got stuck in again and I was " ". Then Twi told Spike to grab the book and I was so happy to see him play an important role. And when Cadance saved him, it was fucking epic.

And then he got his own glass painting. FUCK YEAH!

I really freaking enjoyed this episode. This may have possibly out done the season 2 finale. I'm not sure yet. It probably does. At the very least, it's close in terms of awesomeness.
